Jo founded The Environment Coach Ltd in 2018 as a vehicle to bring together a number of techniques in which she had qualified, including Mindfulness, Neurolinguistic Programming, Hypnosis, Time Line Therapy and Reiki. The aim of the business is to support others looking to break free from the stress, anxiety, self doubt and associated coping mechanisms that all too often cause even more problems than the relief they were believed to provide. During 20 years serving in the Royal Air Force and specialising in the Human Resources areas, Jo saw first hand the effects of prolonged exposure to stressful situations. Looking for ways to proactively combat the debilitating effects this could have on individuals and families, she embarked on research into a variety of different practices, each of which claimed to help alleviate the suffering of both individuals and those closest to them. Now, 30 years into that research, and using herself as her own laboratory as well as working with many others, Jo has identified many of the features these systems have in common and the most effective ways to break free from the negativity aspects of the stress cycle.

Enterprise was launched in the 1990s by North West based employers to combat the driver shortage through providing licence acquisition training. Whilst staying loyal to our roots (we are still one of the country’s largest LGV training schools) the network expanded geographically and evolved to meet the growing requirement for classroom based training for both Drivers and Transport Managers to reflect the emphasis being placed on increasing safety and compliance with the transport industry. The Covid enforced move to a greater volume of online training has been embraced and with the exception of a few days at Christmas online courses run every day of the year. With, in excess of 20 qualified Transport Managers in our organisation we aim to support our clients across the whole of the UK through our knowledge and professionalism. The South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU) comprises police officers and staff drawn from police forces across the country. SEROCU works in conjunction with the Hampshire Constabulary, Surrey Police, Sussex Police, Thames Valley Police, UK Border Force, HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC), the National Crime Agency (NCA) and the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) to combat cross-border organised crime. SEROCU provides niche and specialist capabilities in order to effectively target and disrupt serious organised crime. These capabilities are also available to the constituent Police services as required through a tasking process. There is a flexibility in the tasking model to respond to day to day needs. South East Regional Organised Crime Unit work closely in alignment with Counter Terrorism Policing South East and both functions are hosted by Thames Valley Police as the host Police service. Thames Valley Police manage SEROCU and provide all financial, HR and organisational requirements. Assistant Chief Constable Pete O’Doherty works directly to Chief Constable John Campbell to exercise overall command of the regional crime and counter terrorism functions. He also represents serious organised crime both regionally and nationally with the National Crime Agency and other key stakeholders.

 Ishin Ryu Ju Jitsu (jiujitsu) currently has in excess of 2,000 students, both Infants (4 – 7 years) Juniors (8 – 12 years) Teenagers (13 – 15 years) and Adults (16 – 80 years) training regularly in separate classes throughout its clubs in England. Kevin is also an established author and was invited to write two books, now in several languages, on the subject of Ju Jitsu (jiujitsu) by the publishing giants, Barnes & Nobel, Alan Clark Books, Connections and Edison Sadd, along with a 32 page section for the internationally-acclaimed “The Ultimate Book of Martial Arts”, which has gone on to being one of the best-selling martial books of all time, and printed in several languages. Since the early 90’s, Kevin has received invitations to teach his no-nonsense style of Jiu Jitsu from around the globe, attracting international attention from many of the world’s leading close protection agencies and military Special Forces. Kevin has served with the Royal Marine Reserve (City of London), the Royal Military Police (253 Pro Coy) and as a dog handler in The Parks Police completing his service at the rank of Sergeant. Kevin also worked for six years as a professional close protection officer, having been personally invited to join an elite team drawn from Britain’s Special Forces, being primarily responsible for the personal security of the Dubai Royal family. In November 1997, Kevin moved to Norfolk and established the Ishin Ryu Ju Jitsu (jiujitsu) headquarters in the picturesque village of Caston, where he personally teaches twice a week in the evening aside of his professional duties as the founder and chief instructor. In 2001 Kevin was inducted in to Combat Magazine’s Black Belt Hall of Fame held at the Aston Villa Conference Centre in Birmingham , and in 2003 was invited back to receive a “Guardian of the Martial Arts” award. In 2011 Kevin was once again invited back to the Combat Hall of Fame awards held at the Aston Villa Conference Centre in Birmingham where he was officially honoured and recognised for his service to the world of Martial Arts with a “Lifetime Achievement Award”… In November 2013 Kevin was invited to the “Martial Arts Illustrated” Hall of Fame awards where he was presented with a “Lifetime Achievement Award”…

The Alliance for a Cavity-Free Future is a global non-profit organisation committed to fighting against the initiation and progression of dental caries. The ACFF was formed out of this desire to effect change, by a group of like-minded dental professionals joining forces to raise awareness and combat dental caries through promoting clinical and public health action. Since its formation in 2010, the ACFF has worked to build an international network of dental experts, drawing together representatives from many of the world’s leading dental universities and associations, as well as practitioners, public health professionals. The ACFF Global Team office has been based out of King’s College London since 2013, within the Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences. The ACFF network now spans across the globe, drawing together hundreds of like minded individuals who work collectively at local, regional, national and international levels to help ensure that the future need not bear the unnecessary burden of dental caries. This collaborative network is central to the mission of the ACFF, sharing messaging to local stakeholders and challenging national and global leaders to learn the importance of viewing caries as a disease continuum whilst actively participating in action toward the delivery of comprehensive caries prevention and management.
