Many years ago, Rod Brammer, an international clay pigeon shooter (as well as an
experienced game shot), taught a friend how to shoot. Rod was soon giving
shooting lessons to other people, and quickly developed an excellent reputation.
This ultimately led to Rod giving up his previous employment to focus on our
shooting school full time, which was originally based in the village of Shalden,
Hampshire.. Rod’s son Matt grew up around clay shooting and shooting
instruction, and now runs the shooting school in Devon. Matt was involved with
the family business from an early age, firstly operating the clay traps and
later becoming an instructor himself. Matt now takes most of the one on one
shooting lessons himself and has a number of part time instructors to help with
the larger groups and parties.
