ROXCOOL is a professional instructional business based in and around the North East of England but we are often found working in North Yorkshire, The Peak District, Scotland and our favourite place in the whole world The Lake District. We specialise in climbing and mountaineering courses but also offer opportunities for adventures through guided and fun activities using our team of professionals. We were established in January 2009 and since then the company has not only survived but has prospered. We are very proud of the fact that we are the only Mountain Training course provider in the North East of England, offering all of their climbing instructor and walking leadership courses. We pride ourselves on giving satisfaction and so far all our feedback on both Facebook and TripAdvisor has been 5 * and positive. We also offer technical self-improvement courses relating to safe systems used in climbing and mountaineering situations. So whether its learning to set up simple belay systems or the rudiments of navigation we have a course for you. Our guiding service is very popular for those with specific goals in mind, so you can enjoy and access some of the classic walks, climbs and scrambles of The Lake District and other mountainous areas of the UK or just have a grand day out. Our work with both local and national charities has gone from strength to strength over the past few years and makes up a high proportion of our annual delivery. We specialise in tailor made events and have become somewhat experts in abseiling from unusual buildings (just click on our ‘Charity Events’ tab above). Our charity walks are a great way to encourage lots of participants and a great way to raise money for a chosen charity close to your heart. Finally, we wanted to tell you about our Spanish Adventures and retreats based in Southern Spain. These adventures definitely fit with our company strap line 'for adventures of a lifetime'. Although we have had a connection and a place set aside in our heart with a little village called Murtas for over fifteen years, we have only recently, started to offer adventures there. These adventures are as far removed from life on the costa's as they could be and so far everyone who has visited has fallen in love with the areas we have taken them to. So if you are after some guaranteed sun, warm hospitality, a new cultural experience and possibly a little vino away from the tourists, we think we have the perfect experience for you. Her passion lies in working with and advocating for, families and children who may be isolated by and discriminated through disability or disadvantage. As YOT Manager she obtained funding for specialist Speech and Language Therapy input, a successful innovation which was taken up UK-wide. Working closely with the speech, language and communication consultant has provided Henrietta with additional skills and understanding around the complexity of communication and language and its impact on educational outcomes and behaviour, she has also had direct experience of working with Deaf Young people. She strongly believes that every child has the right to access language and should be given the very best opportunity to achieve their maximum potential and be able to provide a positive contribution.

Crystal Hope Foundation is in existence as a result of the extreme difficulties and challenges the founder went through during his Junior, Senior and Tertiary Education. These challenges and difficulties nearly prevented him from attaining his God given identity had it not been the intervention of almighty God through people that He brought into his way at crucial time and specific moments in his life. The founder also met some people in more deplorable situation but very brilliant and intelligent during this period in his life and he had the strong urge to do what he could to help them in a way. However, when he was in medical school of radiography, an incident occurred which spurred him to enter into full time mission of helping the less privileged children and youths in the slum and rural areas. This occurred in the year 2001 and to date we are doing our best as an organization to help the vulnerable ones in our society.

LIZ TIRANTI CREATES BESPOKE MOSAIC ARTWORKS FROM HER INSPIRED MOSAICS STUDIO IN HOVE. ARCHITECTURAL FEATURES, DECORATIVE PIECES & SCULPTURES FOR HOMES, GARDENS AND PUBLIC SPACES . BORN: London 1969. Lives and works in Brighton & Hove, United Kingdom. ARTISTS STATEMENT: I am a contemporary mosaic artist. My goal? To celebrate and challenge the art of mosaic. Colour underpins everything I create. The approach: intuitive. In my work over twenty five yearsI have developed a striking and vibrant style. The work has included architectural wall and floor features, decorative pieces and sculptures. Whilst developing my sculptural practice I was one of the first in Britain to import concrete construction techniques specifically for mosaic making from North America. This led to my recent postgraduate enquiry into how to translate fragment to form. To take the tile (tesserae) from the surface and make it the object in itself. After all, mosaic originated in Roman construction techniques, it did not begin as decoration. Experience in working to commission for private, corporate and public clients has equipped me with a broad spectrum of skills. They range from design and making to fine judgement about enhancing a space. It is underpinned by a careful interpretation of the clients’ requirements. The art of mosaic, often overlooked and undervalued, is rich in culture, materials and skill. It’s traditions and versatility I continue enthusiastically to embrace. My purpose? To stimulate discussion about the mosaic-making process and to contribute to its' position as both a craft and a fine art form. Currently I focus on producing new sculptural artwork for exhibition and sale.
