About Us The Heart of Hove Meeting Rooms - Designed to be inclusive not exclusive Welcome. This website is all about both the bright and lovely meeting rooms available for hire, and also the events that we will put on at these rooms. All our events are intended to try and help people to escape the ordinary and inspire them to create an even better life for themselves. We will be hosting a wide variety of different events from motivational workshops, to discovering a new hobby, to business brainstorming and everything in between! There is so much hardship, anxiety and loneliness in the world that where possible we would love to make a difference. All workshops are kept small to try and foster a feeling of security and closeness between our attendees. A lot of the groups will be regular ones where people can get to know each other and build a sense of community. In addition to our workshops we will also put on various charity events to help those in need, the first one being a support group for Ukrainian people locally. All the events are actual get togethers rather than online because there really is nothing quite like being physically in a room together to help develop trust, bonds and friendships. If you feel shy or nervous no problem at all. There’s no obligation to say anything unless or until you feel ready. If you feel nervous about coming in then just let me know and I will walk in with you.

Our learners are at the centre of everything we do We are committed to providing a quality education and individual learning plans, life-long care and opportunities for people with moderate or severe learning difficulties. With high quality care and support, we believe everyone can achieve their dreams and aspirations. Condover College was founded by someone who simply wanted the very best opportunities for his son. In 2004, Steve McGill’s son Matthew was studying at Condover Hall School in Shrewsbury, which was run by the Royal National Institute for the Blind. When the RNIB announced the school was under threat of closure, Steve stepped in. He was on the board of governors at the time and put in a bid to lease the site for an initial ten years. Though we started with just our educational centre and three residential schemes, we now have 12 residential schemes, Short Breaks at our Greenfields scheme and an Opportunities Programme which enables our learners to fulfil their greatest aspirations. We believe our success is due to putting our learners first, always aiming for excellence and remaining focused on meeting individual needs. This ethos is reflected in our business structure. We’re a charity exempt from registration under the Cooperative and Community Benefit Societies Act, so we’re not about making money for shareholders. We put everything back into the people we support. Sadly, our founder Steve passed away in 2014. Today we are still honouring his passion and commitment in providing the best possible care and opportunities for all.

So whether you are looking for your next brand marketing concept, event or workshop, we have a range of flexible and tailoured solutions to suit your needs.

oasis english language school

Our mission is ‘to equip refugees and migrants with the language skills needed to integrate into the local community and culture’. We charge minimal fees to help immigrants who cannot afford the fees of commercial language schools. Our teachers are volunteers who are qualified to teach English. We cater for students of different levels – Beginners and Entry Levels 1, 2 and 3. The courses are mainly taught through the government recommended ESOL curriculum, but are varied, interactive and interesting. All staff and volunteers are required to undergo a DBS check.

loreburn archers (outdoors)

We have always been known for being a fun and approachable club. Currently we have around 40 members shooting all styles of bows. The club primarily consist of recurve and compound archers. There are still the odd few who shoot longbow, bare bow and more traditional styles. Some club members also practice other types of archery such as Clout, Flight and Field but unfortunately the club does not have the facilities to cater for these. Over the years the club has produced several top archers. Some of our juniors shot on the Scottish squad and team, representing Scotland all over Britain. We have Scottish record holders, British record holders, even a British Under 15 Junior Boy champion. The seniors have represented the club over the years with Scottish, British and even Olympic champions. Loreburn Archers certainly does have a good pedigree behind it and it is something we are extremely proud of. The club practises all year round. Our indoor season runs from September through to March. We currently shoot at St Joseph’s College Sports Hall. The outdoor season runs from March to September. Through the summer we practise outdoors at the Crichton Playing Field, when it is not raining or too windy to shoot. Directions can be found on our contact page. If you are thinking about taking up the sport, we run a beginners’ course once a year. Completing the beginners’ course is the only way for a novice to join the club. However if you have been a full shooting member of a club in the past, please get in touch with us to inquire about joining. Archery is a sport that is open, to all irrespective of ability. We encourage anyone and everyone to come along and have a shot, the club’s minimum age limit is set at 12 years old. Each November the clubs runs an open indoor competition attracting up to 80 archers from all over Britain. Loreburn Archers also run a number of Come and Try sessions at local Gala days during the summer season which introduces archery to a wider audience as well as raising funds for the club.

The Skills Hub (TSH) is a co-educational Alternative Provision (AP) that caters for students in the London Borough of Hillingdon who cannot attend mainstream school for a variety of reasons, predominantly permanent exclusion.

I am very passionate about creating the right environment within my classes and I feel Poptastic is unique with its lesson structure. For me, a relaxed environment that creates a close frame for friendship, teamwork and trust within the group is utmost important to me. I believe that having a safe environment, whatever the age, one where a pupil can be themselves and not feel pressure is a very important part of their week. david stinson theatre school

Our AWARD WINNING school promotes excellence through the performing arts. We cultivate talent, we champion diversity and we deliver excellence through all that we offer. Established in 2010, our theatre school has been offering children and young people throughout London, with outstanding opportunities. We currently have two branches: Blackheath (Royal Borough of Greenwich), and Highgate (London Borough of Islington). Our students get the opportunity to perform every year in various shows and events. We have students working professionally in theatre - both West End and UK Touring shows, as well as taking lead roles in television and blockbuster movies.
