The Megagen Implant Company was started in 2002 by a group of experienced dental surgeons looking for a better implant. Their interest in offering better solutions to their patients continues to drive the company in improving products constantly & introducing ground breaking solutions for difficult surgical situations. We changed the market when we launched the Rescue Short & Wide implants; we researched them extensively and proved that short implants work. Now, most of the companies have in their portfolio short and wide implants. We were among the first to develop our Internal Sinus Grafting technique and kit. Now there are hundreds out there. In 2010 we launched what we consider to be our best product and the ultimate result of our clinical experience combined with our world class R&D: The AnyRidge Implant System. Locking morse taper, innovative thread shape, aesthetically designed platform shifting, universality of the prosthetic connection and the revolutionary progressive thread/core concept are just a few of the features of what we think is the best implant in the world. OUR STORY The Raphael Studios opened in the summer of 2020, with online Yoga classes hosted from our main Studio by teacher, Bridget. Designed to be a welcoming, calm and versatile space the studios are now open and offer a range of holistic activities including yoga, meditation, sound therapy, pottery and psychological therapy. Owner Bridget is a trained Hatha and Yin Yoga instructor and meditation coach. She has experience in tailoring classes to suit individual needs – and offers a range of classes for the individual and group, both on-line and in person. She passionately believes that yoga is for everyone and is equally comfortable designing a class to suit the age and level of fitness. Bridget is also a Psychiatrist, EMDR consultant and training facilitator. Our studios are located on our family farm in Ballinderry Upper, just 20 miles from Belfast. Due to the current global pandemic, we have maintained our online presence - with 50% of our classes currently taking place online. In our space, all are welcome, and we are sure there is a class perfect for you

Share and Repair

Library of Things and Repair Cafes. We are currently (as of Spring 2021) introducing HOW TO Reduce your Carbon Footprint workshops within the Share and Repair Shop and as a pilot project within primary schools. Another strand of ‘sharing’ is our Library of Things. We started this at the Weston Hub in November 2018 and changed our official name to Share & Repair in line with our expanded vision. We become a charity: In April 2020, Share and Repair gained charitable status as a CIO (charitable incorporated organisation) no 1189015. This is a major milestone for us and means we are accountable and can now raise funds through grant making trusts and from Gift Aid. We opened our first pop-up shop: In June 2020 we hit another major milestone when we opened the doors to the Share and Repair Shop in the centre of Bath. Our first location on Broad Street had an incredible response, raising awareness of sharing and repairing in Bath. In August 2021 we moved to another location at 3 York Buildings, George Street (BA1 2EB), which is now the new home for the Bath Library of Things and a place where we run even more repair sessions. HomeKIT launches: In Spring 2021 we officially launch HomeKIT. This is a new project that will see us taking donations of good-quality but unwanted kettles, irons and toasters and sharing these ‘home kits’ with partner charities who will distribute them to low-income households. If items need repairing, we certainly have the skills and means to do so. We’re really excited about expanding our work in this way and working with other organisations.
