The central place of knowledge acquisition within our curriculum is explicit and we provide rich and varied contexts for pupils to acquire, develop and apply this broad knowledge. Powerful knowledge takes a pupil beyond their own experience. It is knowledge that many will not have access to at home, amongst their friends or in the communities in which they live. We are all the inheritors of the great ideas, writings and discoveries of the past and the young people of Plymouth have a right to learn this knowledge. By learning our curriculum, we know that our pupils will be provided with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in life and make that positive contribution to society. We take great pride that we continue to support every single pupil to successfully complete their education at Plymstock School in which it allows them to access the opportunities and make informed choices to pursue their personal and career aspirations. This includes continuing with their education, employment or training. This is also true at the highest academic level and we are delighted to frequently have pupils gain places at both Oxford and Cambridge University.

I have always had a personal interest in self help and assisted therapy and began training in NLP (Neuro Linguistic programming) over 20 years ago, I have trained with both Richard Bandler and Paul McKenna who are both recognised leaders in this field. Gaining qualifications in both hypnotherapy and psychotherapy I am a member of the National Counselling Society and the National Hypnotherapy Society and my training reflects the standards and ongoing training required by active members. I have ensured that my training provides the most recognised and up to date therapeutic interventions which I believe enhances my natural ability to understand and offer help to those who feel that therapy will empower and enable them to live the life they choose. Using an eclectic approach I am able to tailor bespoke treatment plans using the strengths of the client to gain understanding and achieve the best possible results. I am trained in the use of CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy), PCT (person centred therapy) and psychodynamic therapy. As a published author I write all my own scripts when using hypnotherapy ensuring they have maximum effect enabling change at a subconscious level. I understand the life journey that brings a client to therapy is unique and on that basis I will offer a bespoke therapeutic package just for you. By running my practise from home I can offer a safe and comfortable environment without losing any of the professional standards you would expect. Confidentiality is foremost in my work and I work with the code of ethics that is required as a member of the National Counselling Society, and The National Hypnotherapy Society. London Examinations Board only promotes superior internationally recognized courses. We are primarily a distance learning provider, but recognize that not everyone is comfortable with distance learning. Therefore LEB has approved select colleges and institutions in certain jurisdictions to offer student support and, if preferred, face to face classroom learning in addition to LEB’s online delivery platform. These colleges and institutions become LEB Approved Learning Centres. Quality assurance visits and training on the London Examinations Board learning platform are carried out by us before formal centre approval is given. Annual reviews are also undertaken to ensure processes, procedures and quality assurance are maintained. LEB Approved Learning Centres will usually provide additional tutoring will provide administrative and other support to the learners. Learners will have full access to our online learning platform. You will therefore be able to enjoy the benefits of our online learning platform which is truly interactive and harnesses the power of social networking to make learning fun, collaborative and engaging. LONDON EXAMINATIONS BOARD PROGRAMMES ACCREDITED BY UNIVERSITY PARTNERS London Examination Board has partnered with various universities in the UK, Australia, USA and Europe who have accredited some of our degree programmes. These Universities recognise our academic programmes by allocating them credits against their own undergraduate and/or postgraduate degrees. These Universities therefore only require LEB graduates to top-up their LEB awards rather than undertake the Universities whole programme. This reduces the cost to the students and allows us to help students more.
