Gaz Autoschool(Ed.&Trg.)Ltd.is an alternative curriculum training provider committed to helping learners of all ages who, for whatever reason, find themselves either disengaged from mainstream education or out of work and in need of training to improve their employability. GAZ Auto’s flexible programme is designed to meet each school and learner needs and can be adapted around each participating school’s curriculum to ensure that the content is as relevant as possible. As well as offering Level 1 & Level 2 Award in Motor Vehicle Studies. We offer places to Year 9,10 and 11 students and work with a range of schools across the city and county. Our provision is highly flexible and can involve placements from one day per week, to four full days as well as half day morning or afternoon. The length of the course can last from a few weeks to the full academic term. Lunches can be provided for students on free school meals and schools invoiced for by prior agreement. GazAuto’s has a safe and sheltered environment for students to mix and make new friends.Our full schools prospectus will be available shortly

All Sixth Form students study Core RE across their two year career with us and complete the Extended Project, applying Catholic Social Teaching to a moral and ethical issue of their choice. Excellent pastoral care is provided by experienced tutors who advise, encourage and monitor student progress. The Duke of Edinburgh Award remains a strong feature of our school into the Sixth Form. The award gives students the chance to experience physical activities, volunteering, whilst developing life skills through expeditions; it is valued by universities and employees alike. During May half-term, Sixth Form students join the annual Diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes to care for and assist the sick and disabled pilgrims. This is a very popular extra-curricular opportunity which really demonstrates the faith of our students in action. Throughout the week God’s love in action is seen through the selfless service of the young people and their generosity of spirit, sharing their talents and energy and time willingly with others.
