Hello!! My name is Muge and I am the founder of My Breathing Path! I was born in Istanbul, Turkey and I lived there until 2018. I was working in the Turkish finance industry for more than 10 years and during that time I was suffering from an advanced hernia in my neck. Working in a high stress environment and dealing with lots of problems at the same time, made me a super-achiever. I first came across breathwork in a workshop in 2010. It was extremely powerful but also it was completely different to the other techniques that I had tried before. As I continued to go to the sessions, it helped me to understand my behaviour as a perfectionist and its subsequent consequences for my life, the hernia and my unbalanced relationship with my family, friends and colleagues. After experiencing healing and transformation myself, I decided to become a facilitator. Since 2014, I have been working in the field of Transformational Breath as a Certified Transformational Breath Facilitator in private sessions, workshops and seminars while I continued to work in my finance career. I have experience in working with a wide variety of people – each possessing their own set of needs and goals. My further qualifications, Basic DNA Theta Healing Practitioner and Reiki II Certification are used in conjunction with Transformational Breath sessions to help people reach their potential and achieve their goals. Life is a combination of different journeys and within my new journey in the UK, I look forward to sharing my experiences through transformational breathing sessions with others, who want to discover more about themselves with transformation in their life, increase their self-awareness and live a healthier lifestyle.

Wexham is a highly regarded and successful non-selective 11 - 19 school. The School’s latest Ofsted inspection, November 2017, judged the school to be GOOD in all areas and for overall effectiveness. The school is popular and currently expanding. In 2019 we welcomed our largest Year 7 cohort to the school for many years. Our location on the edge of Slough means our school has a green and spacious campus feeling. In November 2018 we moved into our new multimillion pound ‘Woodside’ Building. This is a major investment by Slough Borough Council as part of its ambitious school expansion programme. We now have 29 brand new classrooms housing Humanities, English, MFL and our SEN departments. In addition a new student services area was provided and at the very heart of the school a new Library, including additional Sixth Form study areas. Historically the School was designated as a ‘Sports College’. Although such designations have now ceased, sport continues to be a focus point of the school and there is considerable success at both local and regional level. High levels of participation in PE and Sport builds resilience and confidence in our students which allows academic success to flourish. The School has well developed partnerships across the Local Authority and community where we lead on PE through the Slough Schools Sports Network based at Wexham. We are currently one of four schools in Slough piloting the ‘Health Champions’ initiative and we also jointly co-host the Borough’s PSCHE network. We are an enhanced partner School to Brunel University. We are the Youth Sport Trust’s Lead Inclusion School for Berkshire. Our recent survey of 369 parents found that 97% agree that: Their child is happy at Wexham Their child feels safe at Wexham. Their child is well looked after at Wexham. 96% of parents say that Wexham is well led and managed and 95% agree that their child is taught well. Most importantly 97% of parents would recommend Wexham to another parent. A key ingredient of our success has been the priority placed on creating an environment in which both students and staff have the confidence to flourish. Great schools, that demonstrate continuous or sustained improvement, are built on a foundation of highly qualified and committed staff. In 2017 Ofsted found that ‘staff morale was high’ and ‘emotional and practical kindness drives the school’s care for all its pupils and students.’ These two features allow both students and staff to thrive.

Each training‘cycle’ lasts three years plus time to prepare a ‘Monography’ (final thesis). Attendance is approximately one weekend a month, usually for nine months of the year. You’re welcome to come either as a student or as a regular dancer to experience Biodanza at a deeper level. Our students come from all backgrounds and represent a wide age range. You can participate in Biodanza at any age throughout your life. We are certified by the IBF, International Biocentric Foundation, the worldwide governing body which is, at present in more than 36 countries and we abide by the code of conduct of the association of Biodanza teachers – http://www.biodanzaassociation.uk, the representative body of teachers here in the UK. The Rhythm of the School There is an organic rhythm to the school which is created by the beautiful music we use for the vivencias. To have four vivencias during each weekend is to dive deeply into yourself, with space to explore through movement and dance. You are enabled to deeply embody Biodanza within the safe environment of the school, discovering friendships and life affirming connections with the others in your group, During each weekend of the 3 years’ training time is given to the presentation of the theoretical bases of Biodanza, each of the first 20 weekends relate to the syllabus followed by all registered Biodanza schools. The theory sits alongside the vital experiential learning which comes from the vivencias. The last 8 modules focus on the practical training, giving those students who wish to become facilitators the tools to hold classes with confidence and who the Directors consider to be ready. The Saturdays and Sundays of the School usually take place over the second weekend of each month. Combined with your commitment to a regular weekly group the school weekends will amplify your experience. What you can expect Our training programme is an exploration of the poetry of movement, dance, expression and communication. You’ll be a valued member of a school which has an ethos of warmth, care, safety and a good measure of fun.
