I have always had an affinity with animals, having grown up in Duston , Northampton with my Grandfather’s Dalmatian. Having learned to ride at the age of 3 and having owned cats and horses, I have one collie one aged 6 yrs old.
We are passionate about all aspects of canine health, training and development for dogs of all life stages. We have a no-nonsense approach to most of our training and advice, where we try to find the simplest and most effective solution for each customer to help them improve their relationship with their dog, all the while focusing on the wellbeing and development of their dog too.
At Paws On we understand that training must be fun for both dog and owner. That's why our classes are taught informally with motivational techniques where the dog is set up to succeed. There's no moaning, no nagging and no shouting just good fun and lots of praise and reward.
Bernie has completed her C&G Professional Diploma Certificate in Grooming with merits and distinctions and is now working towards her Master Groomer Certificate. Bernie's Qualifications" PTLLS Level 3 in Teaching Certificate and C&G Professional Diploma Grooming Certicate. Bernie is a City and Guilds Advanced qualified dog groomer and qualified in “First response canine first aid and resuscitation”.
