He developed an interest in accessible information and communication while working as a carer, and later as an accessible information designer for the NHS in Bristol. Pete Le Grys Founder Pete is the other founder whose specialisms are co-production, involvement and training. Pete has a wealth of experience in the health and social care sector and also worked for the NHS in Bristol where the pioneering work we do first began. Dean Milner-Bell Creative Director New to the team for 2022 is Dean Milner-Bell, who comes to us with many years of experience building the ‘Easy on the I’ symbol set based in Leeds, Yorkshire. We are really excited about what Dean is bringing to the mix as he takes over responsibility for creating new pictures and easy-read templates. I am an author, trainer and consultant in Knowledge Management for law firms. Law firms are knowledge intensive businesses. The way that they create and exploit their combined knowledge has a considerable effect on their profitability and effectiveness. Much has been learned over the past 20 years about how we can create efficient knowledge practices. My goal is to teach law firms how they can work effectively and stop wasting money on inefficient knowledge systems. I come from a family of teachers and I have found my teaching passion in helping law firms to “work smarter”. I have been writing textbooks and training law firm employees since 2009. Previously I spent a decade as a solicitor/lawyer specialising in clinical negligence litigation and 2 years in-house in know-how, so I understand law firms from the inside. I am very proud of my recent MBA with distinction. It opened my eyes to the valuable gains made in other sectors through strategic Knowledge systems. It also enabled me to spend a year intensively studying how law firms can improve competitive advantage through facilitating knowledge-sharing, the topic of my dissertation. I care passionately about distilling all the academic study and research into something practical and useful for you and your law firm.

Sullivan Upper is a co-educational, inter-denominational, voluntary grammar school. The school was founded in 1877 and, since 1939, has occupied extensive grounds on the edge of Holywood. The school’s aims remain very much as they originally were: to provide the best possible education for all pupils, regardless of race, sex, background or religious denomination. Pupils come to Sullivan from a large catchment area, covering North Down, Ards and East Belfast. We provide for all our pupils as broad and balanced a curriculum as possible; we support it (as our motto lamh foisdineach an uachtar ‘the gentle hand foremost’ suggests) with a much-praised pastoral care system; and we extend it through a tremendous range of games, clubs, societies and other extracurricular activities. A truly dedicated team of teaching and non-teaching staff helps all of our pupils to develop their talents to the full and to prepare themselves effectively for the challenges and responsibilities of adult life. Our emphasis is strongly academic and we place a high value on academic achievement.
