Make a capsule range of products which can be mixed and matched with clays and exfoliants to create many more products! Workshops are held near Norwich, Norfolk and are open to everyone, but are particularly suitable for anyone who is new to making skincare products. The workshops are kept small so that each person can receive individual attention if needed. All ingredients and materials are provided, Just bring an apron! Here’s what you will learn, create and take home on the day! Learn about the different types of products you can make. Explore the different types of ingredients; plant oils, butters, waxes, clays, exfoliants, essential oils and hydrosols used in natural skincare products. Discuss the role of antioxidants, emulsifiers and preservatives with green credentials. You will make 4 beautiful organic facial or body care products suitable for your skin type. Learn new skills enabling you to continue making your own beautiful products at home. All the information discussed on the day and the formulas for the products you make, are included in a printed spiral bound handbook to take home with you. Knitted by Lw was created back in 2018 whilst on Maternity leave with my Son Archie. My background is in Fashion and Textiles design, obtaining a 1st Class hons in this subject but specialising in Knitwear my specialist area were hand and machine knitting. I went onto freelancing in swatch design, pattern writing and many other creative roles. Why Chunky Merino Wool? I fell in love with the softness and luxurious quality of Merino wool – I have always been fascinated by various wool yarns, this certain yarn is so versatile and being SUPER chunky it is satisfying to you use as the knit grows so quickly! Which is a bonus. It started with my Signature Chunky heart wreaths, I continued to develop my ideas. I started off for my blankets using Chunky Metre Long wooden Knitting needles, then came across the art of Arm knitting via a tutorial I came across. I then decided to venture on with this idea and started my Arm knitting Workshop classes, Fast forward 2 years later minus the few lockdowns Knitted by Lw workshops are more successful and are constantly growing and becoming popular. As you can Imagine I started to take over the house, My talented husband Ryan came to my rescue and built me my very own garden studio (He is the best!) this is where I also run small intermit workshops – my happy place! Thank you, Thank you! I would just like to say a massive thank you to every single person who has support me over the years, from buying my chunky knitted creations to attending one or two of Arm knitting workshop. It means so much, I am forever grateful.

YOU HAVE TO START SOMEWHERE! I set up my first business at the age of 17; buying pizzas from a local factory and selling them to hungry students at my college. Not groundbreaking by any means, but it taught me a huge amount about business, and paid for my social life, as well as funding a modest expansion in the form of a chest freezer, delivery bike and eventually a van. More importantly, this little pizza business gave me the knowledge and confidence to develop my next idea. COMPETING WITH FILOFAX At 19, I designed and manufactured a range of products to compete with the global brand ‘Filofax’ (for those who remember them). My first order (from WH-Smith) was manufactured in a rented bedroom in Tring, Hertfordshire, and the business quickly grew big enough to win several innovation and business awards. Within 18 months the range sold through many major UK and European retailers, including Liberty’s and Selfridges, as well as being used as commercial folders and gifts by brands like Mercedes Benz and Shell Oil. GROWING COMPANIES Since selling that brand at 22, I’ve grown several businesses with the majority of the last 25+ years running and owning companies in the branding, design, marketing and business development sector. From turning 2 people working from a bedroom making very little to a 30 headcount agency turning over £2.5m through to a 20 person agency in London to have 400 people in offices all over the world. Always with a focus on growth and working closely with my clients, it is here that I have advised many hundreds of different companies on their positioning, brand, marketing, customer development, growth and efficiency.

The organisation was founded as the Wildfowlers’ Association of Great Britain and Ireland (WAGBI) in 1908 by Stanley Duncan FZS and Sir Ralph Payne-Gallwey Bt. Why did Stanley Duncan form the Association? There were three main reasons why he set up WAGBI: He wanted to help professional wildfowlers. He was becoming alarmed at the increasing drainage and subsequent development of excellent wildfowl habitat. He realised that as time went by it would be necessary to defend the sport of wildfowling against the growing enthusiasm of extremists.

James Ewart Racing Ltd was founded in 2004 as a Flat and National Hunt racing yard: initially buying and selling French horses to U.K. owners whilst establishing training facilities. Amongst his early purchases were Dark Ben and My Way de Solzen. James has particularly strong links with France resulting in a high proportion of French horses in the yard but has also had great success with Irish and English horses. He has trained multiple Bumper, Hurdle and Chase winners with some horses winning 12 times and he is always striving to improve the quality of his string. THE TEAM James Ewart James was brought up around horses all his life and as a child enjoyed jumping large hedges on small ponies in the Wynnstay country! Teenage stints followed with work experience at Nicky Henderson, John Leadbetter and Jonjo O’Neill followed by a course at the Royal Agricultural College studying Land Management. Then on to Ferdy Murphy for three years as Amateur Assistant and over to France for four years with Guillaume Macaire as Assistant Trainer - some highlights being Champion Amateur Jockey 2000 and taking Jair du Cochet on his UK raids. Briony Ewart Briony spent her childhood under the tutelage of the legendary East Anglian trainer ‘EAP’ – Miss Pickard. Highlights included winning the Champion East Anglian Native Working Hunter Pony and twice qualifying as an individual for the Pony Club Eventing Championships. At the Royal Agricultural College (now University) she met James and spent a summer in France with Guillaume Macaire before working for two years at the Shadwell Stud and in 2004 helped James set up James Ewart Racing. She has been responsible for breaking in and producing many winners including Wilde Pastures, Open De L’Isle and Capital Venture. Briony still continues with breaking in, is a regular work rider and helps with the horses at the races. As a hobby she enjoys competing on Neil Ewart’s homebred Fells whose bloodlines go back 60 years. David Macleod – Head Lad David has spent a lifetime in racing and has worked at Newmarket and at Middleham with Mark Johnston. He has a wealth of experience in all aspects of horse management and their wellbeing and is a vital member of the team. Charles Marini - Assistant Trainer Charles has returned to the yard as Assistant Trainer and is plays an important part in the running of the yard. JohnAmbrose - Yard Manager Colin Barnfather - Groundsman Leah Barnfather - Part time and weekends. Alistair Bell - Yard repairs. Mario Bogart - Stable lad and work rider Helen Dent - Yard Manager Ian Earsman – Ian is a very experienced horseman and is a Barn Manager Amy Elliot (Part time) - Amy has joined the excellent new Scottish Racing Academy programme and will have two days per week at Borders College and the remainder working in the stables. Stevie Ellwood - Helps us when we are racing Rebecca Farnon - Yard helper Andy Gudgeon - Barn Manager Ross Herbert - Lorry driver. Louise Holmes - Book Keeper. Eric Macleod - Gallop man. Chloe Mchattie - Work Rider and Barn Manager Alex Mchattie - Work Rider Sarah Mchattie - Sarah is the mother of Chloeand Alex and is very experienced. She has been helping us on race days and has an enviable record of btos! Sarah Poole (Senior Staff) – Sarah is an excellent and accomplished horsewoman who is now riding out full time and in charge of the travelling. Blake Storrie - Work Rider.
