Aldo J. Martinez, principal of AJM Advisory, has over thirty-five years of experience in financial markets regulation at the NYSE Euronext and in the securities industry. As, Vice President, Market Surveillance Division (MKS) in the Special Counsel, Trading Correspondence and Options Surveillance Department, he was responsible for MKS regulatory and legal matters including representation in trading investigations conducted by MKS involving federal securities laws and NYSE rules. He led the coordination in regulatory merger task force and special projects, such as regulatory merger of NYSE and NYSE Arca; developing a Divisional training program to provide staff with relevant knowledge including fraud, criminal activity such as customer "intrusion" cases and market making activities; and representing the NYSE Euronext by coordinating regulatory initiatives involving 36 U.S. and non-U.S. markets members in the Intermarket Surveillance Group (ISG). Aldo also evaluated evidence indicating whether markets were maintained in a fair and orderly manner and coordinated a Division-wide New Products Committee which assessed new trading products for impact on surveillance functions. He was responsible for conducting several Options surveillances of the NYSE Arca market, maintaining the MKS Business Continuity Plan and participated in the review of new issuer listing applications for qualification with NYSE and NYSE Arca company listing standards. While at the NYSE Euronext, Aldo held the position as Vice President (MKS) Market Trading Analysis II (MTAII) for 15 years and headed the department responsible for detection and investigation of insider trading, and market manipulation at the NYSE and other trading abuses. He instituted effective team approach to revitalize the NYSE Insider Trading Surveillance program after the insider trading scandals of the 1980s which led to the development of sophisticated, state of the art automated systems to detect trading violations in ever evolving market structure and increasing volume of trading. He proudly represented the NYSE in the ISG and his collaboration with ISG members led the evolution of the ISG into a truly international regulatory cooperative network of 36 exchanges and markets around the world. Aldo also developed and was responsible for the MKS Business Continuity Plan. Aldo Martinez's earlier years at the NYSE involved holding positions as Managing Director - MTAII; Director - Regulatory Quality Review (RQR) MKS Program - evaluated the MKS surveillance programs for effectiveness and efficiency and internal audit for regulatory processes; Attorney - Special Counsel (MKS and NYSE Enforcement Division) - represented and led the NYSE with over 18 successful disciplinary hearings involving market trading violations and cases involving violations of federal securities laws and NYSE rules. Aldo has 9 years of trading floor experience. He also served as assistant to the General Counsel at Spear Leeds & Kellogg where his duties extended to trading in NASDAQ stocks, options and futures clearing and investment banking as well as block proprietary trading and NYSE Floor trading. Throughout Aldo's career, he has given regulatory presentations to U.S. and non-U.S. government officials, dignitaries and market centers, participated in SEC international seminars and State panels and he has been interviewed by national and international print and broadcast media (e.g. CNN Espanol). Aldo also has a passion and true skill set in training, teaching and motivational speaking.

Littleover Taekwon-Do is a family orientated Taekwon-Do club which took up it’s independent status in 2007. We teach ITF Chang Hon style Taekwon-Do and we are part of Authentic Taekwon-Do England. Authentic England is registered with International Chang-Hon Taekwon-Do Federation (ICTF). We are also registered with the British Martial Arts & Boxing Association. Costs We are not a business and try as much as possible to keep training costs to a minimum. Family groups are encouraged to attend. Our current fees can be seen here. We collect payment monthly, in advance, via bank transfer. We ask students to commit to the full month. This helps us manage the class size cost effectively, and regular attendance is essential to making progress. Some fees (e.g. grading fees) are collected via Spond. Sparring equipment is essential for protection when you start sparring. Students are permitted to spar after successfully passing their first grading. See our equipment list for more information. We strongly recommend purchasing gear from Academy Sports in Derby. When you visit Academy Sports please let them know you are attending Littleover Taekwon-Do so they know to provide the appropriate gear. We don’t receive any commission. If sparring kit is purchased from elsewhere we can’t guarantee it will be acceptable for use within LTKD. Please check with us first. Advocacy Services: Our Community and Specialist Advocacy services provide support for Derbyshire residents to have their voice heard when important decisions are being made about their lives or to overcome issues that are impacting on their health and wellbeing. We also provide independent advocacy support for Derbyshire residents who wish to make a complaint about their NHS care or treatment, including any complaint against an organisation or service funded by the NHS. Enjoying Derbyshire: ‘Enjoying Derbyshire’ is our name for our community mental wellbeing programme comprising of groups and activities that have the common goal of improving mental wellbeing by boosting mood, reducing loneliness and isolation, and creating meaningful connections between people in Derbyshire. Active Monitoring: Active Monitoring is our guided self-help service for people experiencing mild to moderate mental health problems. Currently the Derbyshire Mind Active Monitoring service is being delivered from three GP practices across Derbyshire: Crich, Ripley, and Horizon in Derby. MindSpace: Derbyshire Mind’s MindSpace meet-ups are supportive community groups in local parks that creates space for people to get together, get some fresh air, meet some new friends, and be listened to in a friendly and inclusive group. All MindSpace walks are supported by our fantastic Derbyshire Mind volunteers who are friendly, inclusive, welcoming and really great listeners. Jackie and Terry Lawer run Capable Canines Cornwall. Terry has a fantastic wealth of knowledge in all things canine, having been involved in dog training for over thirty years. He and Jackie own three Border Collies and a Miniature American Shepherd. Jackie deals with all matters to do with running the business and its administration. She is an Agility Club Approved Instructor, as well as being a qualified teacher, who has taught in Secondary and Adult Education. Jackie currently competes with one of her collies in agility. Tarn is Grade 7: the highest grade achievable in UK. Tarn has competed at two UKA National Finals and Jackie has also competed at a KC ABC (anything but a collie) National Final with her crossbreed, Zeus, many years ago now! She is also bringing on a youngster, due to start competing in Grade 2 shortly. Terry competes with Exe in Grade 4. Both Jackie and Terry have been Agility Judges. Jackie is also a Scentwork UK Judge and Trial Manager, currently working Tarn at Level 5 and Dart at Level 2 in this discipline. Arena We are lucky enough to have the use of an excellent training venue in Shortlanesend. Access is really easy and only takes a few minutes from Truro in the south or the A30 in the north. The venue offers hard-standing for parking and a really large outdoor school. We are told it is 25 x 45 m but it seems even bigger! The surface is a sand and felt mix and stands up very well to all types of weather!
