The Makeover Studio is an established UK makeup artist school providing both reputable and affordable courses covering day, evening, natural beauty, bridal , special occasion and photographic a makeup. We also provide a host of private client services including wedding and special event makeup, 1-2-1 lessons and photo shoots. Based in Portsmouth, Hampshire , The Makeover Studio was founded in 1995 by Tina Elliott-Hunt, an experienced makeup artist, lecturer and aesthetician. Committed to the promotion of high training standards, Tina shares her skills and experience with her students making her a highly sought after educator. She is an acknowledged author to a variety of reputable and respected courses attracting many established beauty professionals and lecturers to her school in pursuit of continuous professional development.

Working Clasp is a handcrafted jewellery label by Birmingham designer Rebecca Cowley. Inspired by her travels, Birmingham heritage and art and design background. We make distinct, wearable jewellery for people seeking something different from their jewellery. We have a range to suit every taste from eccentric head dresses to everyday colour pops to brighten up your day. Working Clasp also make alternative bridal wear and wedding accessories such as headdresses, cufflinks, collar pins, invitations and table decorations. We also offer jewellery making workshops where you can collate your own unique pieces from a wide selection of laser cut charms designed by Rebecca. All our jewellery is lovingly handmade by Rebecca in her Birmingham studio. We will be offering a bespoke service in 2019 where you can come and design your own jewellery with Rebecca in her studio. Celebrity alternative bouquet designer Lesa Simons, of I Heart Buttons has an established reputation for creating couture designs that are highly distinctive with impeccable quality. Her button/brooch bouquets along with the paper flowers bouquets are all individually wired and hand-shaped to ensure they will last a lifetime. After your wedding they can be displayed in our bespoke bouquet cases and become a spectacular centrepiece in your home, or even be passed on to loved ones for their wedding day. As well as beautiful button bouquets, she also creates paper flower bouquets and has introduced a collection of "Bureau" Bouquets (using vintage style door knobs). She can also make you personalised buttonholes which make a quirky and lasting keepsake of your day. In 2012 Lesa had the pleasure of creating 350 music themed corsages for the stars of the MOBO Awards and in 2013 created the bridal bouquet for the wedding of Scouting for Girls guitarist, Greg and his wife Lisa. More recently Lesa created the bouquets and buttonholes for the wedding of Tom Gibbins and Ruth Payne, (sister to Liam Payne of One Direction). Entrepreneur Theo Paphitis has also recognised I Heart Buttons as a small business to watch in April 2014 when they won the Small Business Sunday Award. Hi, I am Geraldine Christie the owner of Thimbleberry Sewing. A small independent sewing/crafting venue since 2020 in Elderslie, Scotland. It’s a place to learn new skills, built confidence and meet new people. All classes are run from my home in a sociable and welcoming environment with a maximum of four students per class. I cater for those who are complete beginners or more advanced sewists. I have always had a passion for sewing and crafting and learned to sew from an early age. You could say its in my blood as I come from a long family tradition of sewing, passed down from my Great Grandmother. Although I could sew I wanted to learn more and trained at Cardonald College in Glasgow where I achieved an HNC in Clothing Technology. I then set up my own Dressmaking business specializing in Bridal wear. After some time I wanted to pass on my skills and teach. After completing a BA in Consumer & Management Studies (Home Economics) and a PGDE teaching Diploma I was qualified to teach. I taught in Secondary schools for 12 years so, with over 30 years sewing experience you are in safe hands.
