We support women in prison into meaningful employment in the fashion, retail and
the creative industries. How? We connect women with people and organisations in
the fashion and creative industries to help them secure meaningful employment
(such as full/part-time work, placements and apprenticeships). Who is
BehindBras? We are a group of passionate people who care about what happens to
women who leave prison. Our founder Barbara Burton inspired us to take a look at
the grim statistics and devastating stories about women in prison and motivated
us to help support her plan to give women more - not less - opportunities when
they leave prison.
