About Linnet Workshops was set up in 2019 by Devon based artist Grace Coombes.
With a life long passion for making and creating, Grace has developed a wide
range of art and craft based Workshops that focus on the varied processes of
making imagery through print, collage, book arts and more.
Grace enrolled in
an Art Foundation Course at Falmouth University and then went on to study
Illustration at Brighton University. She later developed a love for printmaking
which feeds into many of the creative sessions on offer. Her prints have been
exhibited at MAKE Southwest (formerly Devon Guild of Craftsman) and Ocean
Studios, Plymouth.
Choosing and using materials with the environment in mind
is extremely important to the Linnet Workshops ethos. Where possible recycled
papers, cards and many other materials are used. Left over materials are saved
for future workshops or recycled.
