I have recently joined the artist and designers on BBC TV's foremost upcycling show, Money for Nothing. I'm also associate member of the House of Upcycling, the UK's leading authority on professional upcycling. I'm also an Ambassador for their membership of the British Institute of Interior Design.

With a background of over 20 years in this sector, we are creating the next generation of sports professionals and leaders. Currently working in partnership with 70+ basketball, rugby and cricket clubs nationwide. Having worked hard to build relationships with the local Nottingham community, we have been able to provide high quality sports related qualifications, advice and mentorship. Helping Kids Achieve is about empowering young people, especially those aged between 5 and 17 with the skills needed to become leaders by building a better future for the next generation. With the help of a team of charities and organisations, we will be able to achieve this goal together. From humble beginnings, Helping Kids Achieve has been featured on Notts TV, The Nottingham Post, BBC Radio Nottingham, BBC East Midlands and even have won an award at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year due to the work we provide for the community. We primarily operate in Bulwell, Bestwood and St. Anns, where we focus on sports, arts & crafts, music and dance to create a fun environment for everyone involved. Michelle, A.I.S.T.D. , M.B.T.D.A. , Reg RAD Member, began teaching Adult Jazz Dancing in Portishead in 1989. In 1995 the children of the adults wanted a class of their own. Numbers grew rapidly. Michelle also taught for the Bristol School of Dancing (where she trained) from 1986 until February 2014 when the branch was handed over to Michelle. In the Summer of 2014, a super sparkly 25th Anniversary show was staged to celebrate. In June 2016 Michelle was contacted by the BBC to be filmed dancing for the TV programme Street Auction – A fabulous day. MBDS likes to stay in the heart of the community. The children enjoy performing in various events ie carnival, flashmobs,displays etc. MBDS has been involved in the BBC CIN Tapathon for the last 4 years. The school also has 100% exam pass rate. This year the school renamed itself from Jazz on Tap Dance Company to Michelle Bedford Dance Studios. We are a fully ‘inclusive’ school and warmly welcome pupils regardless! Dan Smith has taught drums across the Midlands for over 12 years, and is now based in the Wirral after relocating. Dan has extensive drumming experience, having attained Grade 8 at the age of 17, completing a Master Performance Course at Drum Tech College in London, and touring with Rugby based band "Speak, Brother," performing on BBC Radio 2. He also co-wrote their 2018 full length debut album, "Young and Brave." Dan offers Graded instruction (RSL), having 100% pass rate, however lessons are tailored to student's interests, ability, learning style and personal goals. He teaches all ages, from 5-85. He has a great ability to make students feel relaxed, maximising enjoyment while focusing on musical development. He has experience teaching students with autism, anxiety, ADHD and various physical and learning difficulties.

Carole Sender. Proud to have been a Contestant in BBC 2′s  Great Pottery Throwdown 2017 Carole’s interest in ceramics began more than 30 years ago. The manager of a retail shop in London, selling studio ceramics and handmade crafts, she would tour the country, visiting remote, rural studios and ordering ceramics for the store. Carole went on to study interior design and worked for a number of years in an architectural practice as a designer. FINE ART MEETS CERAMICS However, her passion for pottery and ceramics was reignited in the 1980s, when she gained a City and Guilds Ceramics qualification at Kingsway College, London and followed this with A Foundation Art Diploma and Degree level study at the University of Hertfordshire in Fine Art. SHARING OF IDEAS Clay with Carole was borne out of Carole’s love to teach and pass on her knowledge to others. She feels strongly that studying ceramic art is an ongoing, rich, and fascinating process and that the learning process is one of mutual communication and the sharing of ideas.
