Thank you to Booterstown National School for giving us a spot to promote our Master Chess Club at their recent Winter Fair. It was a fantastic day, full of great fun and lots of chess! And, importantly we also raised much needed funds for the school. Thank you to all who stopped to say hello, to play chess and to make a donation. Looking forward to welcoming some new members to our Master Club! Join us As well as a lot of fun, we offer chess tuition, games and competitions for children (minimum age of 4) and adults (no age restrictions)! Feel free to contact us or drop by. We are open Mondays and Fridays at Patrician Community Centre Stillorgan 4pm-6pm. First two tuition classes at the Club FREE for everyone. Windmill Training started in 2005 to help fill the gap in Developing Programmes and in Teaching Vocational, Basic and Life Skills for Mental Health Service Users – in hospitals, supported housing projects and secure units. The Outdoor Training Company specialises in delivering very practical First Aid courses and in providing training for journeying, particularly by canoe or on Nordic skis. We are a Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) accredited centre and our 3 day First Aid at Work and 1 day Emergency First aid at Work courses are all certificated by this awarding body. In addition we can provide tailored courses for groups or organisations and, in the past, this has included everything from courses for outdoor professionals who need a course to fulfil the demands of their work environment to schools just wanting basic CPR training. We are also specialists in training individuals wishing to prepare for their own adventure journeys. Whether your adventure journey is by canoe, on foot or on skis - we can train you to be competent in all these forms of journeying. Alternatively we can guide you on your bespoke journey but throughout we would be aiming to give you the skills to be as proficient as possible. In addition we can provide training in Leadership Development and we are keen supporters of the ideals of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. Kennel Club registered, the club brings its experience to both the public street, and the show ring, training for excellence in obedience shows, companion shows, and acceptable behavior in all walks of life. Puppies taught in the beginners class are given these basics and Kennel Club Puppy Foundation assesment award Advanced Categories:- These classes are for owners whose dogs have progressed from the Beginners stage and wish to achieve Bronze, Silver, and Gold Kennel Club Good Citizens Awards and/or reach higher standards of obedience, including entering obedience shows. Commands used at these higher levels will be progressively taught for detailed exercises which include advanced heelwork, retrieve, send away, scent, advanced stays and advanced control work.

We are an OFSTED regulated Nursery and Primary School. We deliver the EYFS (Early Learning Foundation Stage) and the basic understanding of an Islamic curriculum to your child. Here at Darul Madinah we actively promote working together with the parents/carers of the children within our care. You are the most important people in your child's life and only by working together can we ensure that your children will achieve and develop to their full potential whilst having lots of fun and adventures during their time with us. Our provision is for 2 - 4 year olds and presently we can cater for up to a total of 68 children. We provide two different sessions where the parents can choose the most appropriate time for their child. The morning session runs from 9:00am to 12:00pm, while the afternoon session runs from 12:45pm to 3:45pm. In addition to the morning or afternoon sessions, we can also provide full day sessions for working parents. We can accomodate admissions throughout the year (Autumn, Spring & Summer). Children usually joining the term after their second or third birthday. All our staff are fully trained and experienced. Most of our children from early years usually progress to our Primary school. We recruit for our primary school throughout the year.

To get started all you need to do is join one of our beginner course that run all year round every year, we are a family school so you will be made welcome nonmatter your background or reason for training. Feel free to just make a note and turn up ready to start on the night in your location of choice or contact the school so we know to expect you as well before hand by phone, txt or email. Once you have started and then complete a beginners course you can then decide if the skill is right for you and if you would like to become a member. This course covers around 16 to 32 hours of training depending how many classes you attend in each location and the aim is to get you to a basic level of understanding so you can identify and develop what's needed as quickly as possible right from the start. This course has a one time ONLY payment of £30 non refundable paid the night you start in cash at class or by card by using the pay now button below, once you have completed this course and been signed off by your Sifu you will have the option of becoming a member from there to continue your training.
