At Havva Yoga our practice space is dedicated for our students to meet and share positive energy, to grow as we all begin to have a more open mind, body and soul. Japanese Traditional Ju-Jitsu is a unique discipline that brings together mental and physical fitness with self-mastery. In our classes our instructors will guide kids through their training process helping them to achieve the uppermost levels in Ju-Jitsu. CurAik Martial Arts provides group classes which are suitable for first-time beginners and intermediates and we are based in Sheffield in different locations. We focus on setting a foundation of basic techniques such as correct hand and foot movements, balance, blocks and parries, safe falling techniques, and much more which can be built upon every session. Burnley

Our DRIVER CPC courses are now available both ONLINE via remote connection or in our Classroom in Burnley. Each 7 hour course will be delivered as a full 7hr session taking a full day whether online or in the classroom. Course timings are generally from 08:15 for registration with the courses starting at 08:30 and ending at 16:30, of course we will be having breaks throughout the day. ONLINE COURSES. In order to take part online, you MUST have access to either a Laptop, Computer or Tablet (we do not recommend the use of Mobile Phones) with webcam, speakers and microphone, and be able to install the ZOOM App (ZOOM ). ONLINE courses are currently £40.00 per day. CLASSROOM COURSES. Our classroom based courses are held in our Training Centre in BURNLEY. We have introduced Covid-Secure practices such as social distancing, increased ventilation and of course hand sanitising. We will do our best to keep you safe. CLASSROOM courses are currently £60.00 per day. Check out our CALENDAR page to see all the dates we have coming up along with number of available spaces. You can book via our website which requires a payment of £40.00 per booking to be made online via PayPal (No PayPal account needed - just use your card). Any balance payment due will need to be made before the course start date, but we will contact you about that. Hello, My name is John Bunyan I teach the Wudang style of Tai Chi Chuan as a complete Martial Arts system. I teach all 5 elements of Tai Chi Chuan: Hand Form Pushing Hands Self Defence Weapons (Sword, Sabre and Spear) Internal Strength I’ve been studying Dan Docherty’s Practical Tai Chi Chuan style since 1990 and teaching in the UK for the last 25 years. I am a certified level 8 Chief Instructor of this style (see resource on the menu for Instructor levels) and a Tai Chi & Qigong Union for Great Britain senior instructor. Students of other styles who want to learn more about the martial side of Tai Chi Chuan are welcome. Tai Chi Chuan We train using the hand form and pushing hands, but we also learn the self-defence applications, which is where the hand form was derived from. Learning the applications also helps with focus when practising the hand form. We use other training techniques such as running thunder hand, pad work, 5 element arm, San shou etc. The Spear, Sabre and Sword are taught as forms with applications. Tai Chi for Health Using the hand form our aim is to offer a series of flowing, connected movements that help improve balance, coordination, posture and circulation. It also helps to relax the mind as well as the body. The hand form is a type of moving meditation. We also use pushing hands. These are partner drills used to train whole body coordinated movements. They are beneficial because you are training to move with your partner, not against them. 8 Pieces of Brocade Qigong is taught to help improve movement in the body’s joints. To stimulate the nervous system and circulation. Students who are practising for the health-giving aspects are always welcome to join in and learn the martial aspects of the art.
