There is little that we can be certain about, but we can be confident that a time will come when our current beliefs and assumptions are seen as mistaken, our heroes - like the imperial adventurers of the past - are regarded as villains, and our morality is viewed as bigoted prejudice. So the IAI seeks to challenge the notion that our present accepted wisdom is the truth. It aims to uncover the flaws and limitations in our current thinking in search of alternative and better ways to hold the world. The IAI was founded in 2008 with the aim of rescuing philosophy from technical debates about the meaning of words and returning it to big ideas and putting them at the centre of culture. Not in aid of a more refined cultural life, but as an urgent call to rethink where we are. That rethinking is urgent and necessary because the world of ideas is in crisis. The traditional modernist notion that we are gradually uncovering the one true account of reality has been undermined by a growing awareness that ideas are limited by culture, history and language. Yet in a relative world the paradoxes of postmodern culture has left us lost and confused. We do not know what to believe, nor do we know how to find the answers. The IAI was founded to help address this intellectual crisis. Our research and editorial teams have worked around the clock to face up to this challenge and unearth fresh ways of thinking that might guide us in an uncertain world. When, with the founding of the IAI, we declared that philosophy and big ideas should be at the heart of our culture, we did not do so out of reverence for ideas or an attachment to the academy and intellectual life. We did so because it is these core thoughts and ideas that determine the character of our world and our lives. It is our vision that philosophy and big ideas are not a pleasant reflective addition to our everyday lives but an essential determinant of who and where we are and of what is possible. Children of Potentials International, operating as Children of Potentials, abbreviated as CoP is a not-for-profit organisation with international outlook. It is incorporated in England and Wales as a charity for tax purposes. CoP’s international ambition to reach every child everywhere mean we work independently and collaboratively with other independent organisations with a shared aims, objectives and aspirations. In Ghana, the organisation operates independently as well as have joint-working with Children of Potentials Charity (CoPC) which is incorporated and recognised as an NGO, regulated by the country’s Department of Social Welfare. In Malawi, CoP has joint-working programmes with Centre For Childrens Affairs Malawi, an organisation working with children within Chikwawa area and throughout the country to raise educational outcomes and create awareness about issues affecting the welfare of children. Mission Statement Children of Potentials (CoP) believes that children possess enormous potential and abilities which should not be lost to themselves or the wider society due to lack of support and direction in utilizing such inherent traits. In this regard, CoP seeks to identify and support children, especially in poor communities to high levels of attainment in their education, health and socio-economic circumstances . Our Vision and Belief We live in a world where some have more than they need, adequate to meet their needs, or little or nothing to meet their needs. We believe that these would continue to be the case for a long time into the future. We also believe that individuals, civil societies and governments have made the efforts to alter the status quo by promoting a balanced and equitable world systems. For example the amount of aid given by rich countries, organisations, as well as individual remittances have lifted millions of families in poor countries out of abject poverty. But this is not sustainable as their benefactors face economic challenges of their own. In recent times, the amounts of aid to developing countries show a marked decline in real terms. Our vision is to see a society where children in poor communities are empowered to provide for themselves and their families in future instead of being trapped in a culture of reliance on assistance. We believe this can be achieved through their foundation education, and good health provisions. CoP is determined to be part of the process by sensitising and bringing this issue to the forefront of all children issues

I work with a wide variety of individual students ranging from professional athletes, musicians and actors to people with chronic pain issues, injuries or those simply wanting to become more in tune with how they move in daily life. I teach regular workshops for the general public and also to Pilates and fitness teachers, physiotherapists, runners, tennis and golf coaches and ski instructors. I’m the creator of the FeldenFit 30 day Programme to refine your ability for powerful, effective and balanced movement which is hosted by Ritter Dressage. I co teach an online course for riders called The Aware Rider with Dr Thomas Ritter and Shana Ritter. I add rider content on the Ritter’s online courses which focus on the biomechanics of dressage. I am also a Gestalt psychotherapist with a particular interest in working with developing awareness of how my clients embody their emotional and psychological patterns. Biography I’m an accredited Feldenkrais practitioner and have been teaching sport, fitness and movement since 1986. I also have an Msc in Clinical Gestalt Psychotherapy. As an internationally qualified ski instructor and ski instructor coach, I taught in Europe, New Zealand and USA. Returning to London I worked as a personal trainer and was one of the first to incorporate Pilates into my training methods. Many of my clients were very fit but I was always looking for something that would take them further. Despite daily strengthening and stretching regimes and regular osteopathic and physiotherapy treatments I found that their progress was often hampered by niggling injuries and chronic stiffness. Only when I came across the Feldenkrais Method did I make the connection that stretching, strengthening or manipulation were not the key. As I incorporated the Feldenkrais Method into my training my clients started to recognise for themselves how the way they moved could cause injury and interfere with their ability to reach their goals. Through the lessons they learned how much excess effort they put into everything they did, not only in sport but also daily activities. They started to notice surprising and unexpected improvements in their coordination. Many reported an increased sense of physical comfort and ease. I decided to embark on the 4 year Feldenkrais Training which I completed in 2002. I completed my Masters in Clinical Gestalt Psychotherapy in 2016.

Founded in 1999 in the USA, the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy inc (ICD) is an international, not-for-profit, non-governmental organization with headquarters in the USA and in Germany. Philosophy The ICD understands that in an increasingly globalized world, in which people are able to travel and exchange information faster than ever before, the globe is becoming more integrated and there is a growing interdependency between nations, communities and individuals. As a result, successful intercultural interaction will undoubtedly become a major challenge for international relations in the 21st century. In this regard, the ICD believes that inter- and intra- cultural relations can be strengthened and maintained through constant and on-going dialogue and exchange. These, in turn, lead to a better understanding and greater trust between nations and communities, prevent misunderstanding, improve communication and cooperation and help to reduce the likelihood of socio-cultural conflicts and disputes. Goal & Mission Cultural diplomacy has long been recognized as a prime instrument to promote intercultural links between countries, communities and peoples. The Institute for Cultural Diplomacy was founded with the aim to promote cultural diplomacy globally; by doing so, the ICD contributes to achieving global peace by strengthening intercultural relations. “The ICD´s ultimate goal is to promote global peace and stability by strengthening and supporting intercultural relations at all levels.” Activity & Methodology The Institute for Cultural Diplomacy’s primary activity focuses on the development and the promotion of the field of Cultural Diplomacy with the aim to raise awareness and understanding of the field across the globe both locally and internationally; The ICD works continuously to develop new and innovative initiatives of cultural diplomacy. The major objectives of the ICD are to extend current research, programs and practices in the field of cultural diplomacy and create a platform to promote and sustain intercultural dialogue at all levels. The ICD actively encourages and supports cultural diplomacy as an academic discipline. In addition to promoting cultural diplomacy through its own initiatives, the ICD also promotes cultural diplomacy by actively supporting the work that is already being done in this area by partnering and communicating with other actors in the field. The ICD activities are implemented and executed by its four main partner institutions: the Academy for Cultural Diplomacy the Organization for Youth Education & Development (OYED) the Inter Parliamentary Alliance for Human Rights & Global Peace (IPAHP) and the ICD House of Arts & Culture.

In 2013, the Royal College of Midwives (RCM) and our partners (Community Practitioners and Health Visitors Association (CPHVA), Royal College of Nursing (RCN), Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (RCOG), Royal College of Paediatrics & Child Health (RCPCH), Human Rights Organisations such as Equality Now, FORWARD and other charities, activists and survivors) came together to produce the Intercollegiate Recommendations for identifying, Recording and Reporting in the UK which formed the basis for government actions to End FGM. Since then, we continue to work with our partners to lobby the government for services and support for survivors of FGM, raise public awareness and advocate for training and support for health and social care professionals and those who work with women and children. Some of these initiatives aim to support health professionals and build links with communities where FGM is practised, so that we can highlight the health and psychological impact of FGM. They also include training such as e-learning modules, and a variety of FGM related resources and tools specifically aimed at Specialist Midwives. With funding from the Department of Health and NHS England, we have jointly developed this discrete e-platform aimed at Specialist FGM Midwives, doctors, health visitors, nurses, students and relevant health and social care professionals, as a means of creating a virtual forum of support where relevant resources can be accessed, including links to appropriate data on FGM. The e-network would also act as a confidential platform for discussion of issues or specific problems, and for sharing information and best practice in a safe space There are also discussion groups available to non-health professionals involved in the campaign against FGM. It is hoped that members would come together at least once a year for a conference or workshop.
