Meet Cindy Trance Medium & Certified Intuitive Consultant Welcome if you’re new here! I am a trance medium, spiritual teacher and qualified therapist, practicing at the Light Centre Belgravia in London, UK. I also love teaching Reiki level 1 to parents and kids who are great channels. I am a natural medium, raised by a great healer, my wonderful great grandma; but for most of my life I denied my mediumistic abilities because of fear of the unseen world. My awareness of the Spirit World had awakened again when I went through a major life change after having my 2nd son in 2014. The journey started with deep healing, work on myself, followed by an amazing personal development. After the lengthy soul-searching, I got a clear understanding of my life purpose. I understood intuitively that my true gift was being able to help others share unspoken or deeply harboured narratives. Some of the people I meet through my work have powerful and affecting tales to share. They have been survivors of mental, physical and sexual abuse at the hands of others who did not hold their best interests at heart. I too have had to go on a confronting journey of healing, and today I offer myself as a bridge for others. My work now, as both survivor and light worker to people who are still wandering lost in the dark, is helping navigate a pathway from hopelessness to life-affirming power. Whatever the challenge you have when you come to see me, I am able to use the combination of all my abilities to help you ...assisted by the unseen world. My work as a healing medium has the advantage of being compatible with any type of medical treatment. I am not a doctor and as such do not make diagnosis. Think of energy healing simply as a good auxiliary of care in strengthening your energy field. Since my awakening I attended teachings of Trance medium Elizabeth Roberts at the College of Psychic Studies in South Kensington, London. I also regularly attends Trance mediumship weekly intensive courses at the Arthur Findlay College, Stansted, England. Today I am honoured to serve Spirit and connect you with your loved ones as well as help you along your life path physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually! Today I continue my development following teachings from Trance Medium Janet Neville, psychic medium Sharon DeBarolo Carmack DSNU and Trance medium Andrej Djordjevitch. Yoga has been a practice that has guided Sasha through some of the toughest waves of life. It became her fall-back and it has been a practice that has supported her through every life phase, changing & adapting with her and guiding her on the journey back to herself. Sasha teaches Yoga as a practice that invokes freedom, clarity, creativity and deep inner connection. Yoga is an opportunity to liberate through movement, stillness, awareness and release. Sasha’s Yoga journey started at 15 years old. Mostly self-taught for the first 10 years, Sasha eventually followed her dream and in 2008, completed her first 200 hour TT with Tribe Yoga, which proved to be a life-changing course and further increased her passion for Yoga and developed a desire to continue teaching. Shanti Yoga Glasgow was born and she traveled the world teaching, eventually settling back home in Glasgow. Sasha spent another 10 years building successful Yoga Studios around Glasgow and in 2020, she adapted her business to give her more freedom. Sasha is currently based in Ahangama, South Province of Sri Lanka and will be back in Glasgow May-September 2023. Sasha’s main passions in teaching are: guiding Yoga Teacher Trainees to become unique and inspiring teachers, Women’s Yoga that facilitates deeper connections to our softer and nurturing energy and finally working emotionally and energetically with Yoga as a healing practice. Sasha has worked extensively with young offenders and addiction groups since 2011 and holds 1100+ Yoga training hours with global teachers. She is the only certified Prana Flow teacher in Scotland.

TEACHING: A teacher to me is on the one hand an enabler, someone who assists skilfully in the learning of another without claiming to be anything more than a facilitator. I aim at empowering students to own their experience and process and find their inner teacher. On the other hand, a teacher is someone who through practice, experience and study reached a level of knowledge and understanding which when it is shared enriches someone else's experience. I enjoy sharing what I've learned and keep studying a variety of subjects, practising with my teachers and learning from my students. A central dimension of my teaching is space holding. Holding space is like externalising mindfulness into 3D: creating a space of presence, awareness, trust, clarity, empathy, curiosity, and non-judgment for a person or a group. YOGA: I believe in the power of a yoga practice because - both as practitioner and teacher - I have experienced and witnessed significant shifts in inner as well as outer state and the experience of being alive. Firstly, it is a system that is based on ethical principles. It offers multidimensional practices ranging from movement and postures to concentration, relaxation and meditation all of which promote awareness, healing and training of our physical body, our breathing, our energetic body, our senses, and our mind. There is something for everyone. To connect to ourselves, we need to spend some time with, get to know and begin to accept, respect and love ourselves for who we are. My intention is to teach in a mindful way putting awareness first. The main teaching focus are breath- and heart-centred practices with accompanying movement and postures - yoga from the inside out. There are various studies that prove the positive effects of conscious breathing on psychological and physiological healing and a calmer state of mind. The techniques become tools that serve your personal journey and enrich your life. A yoga class also offers the opportunity to connect with and support each other without words or touch but through sound and breathing. THE FEMALE BODY: Since my first pregnancy yoga teacher training, I have gone on a journey of discovery around topics specifically relevant to the female body experience. It is a fascinating, beautiful and sometimes intense field of work. The intensity comes from the fact that the changes pre- and postnatally on a physiological, mental-emotional, practical and spiritual level can be incredibly challenging yet the mainstream message is to 'just get on with it' and 'to get your body back'. My intention is to bring women together, to hold space for their experience and offer useful practices for their special state of health. To deepen my knowledge around birth and to be able to offer more support for women and supporting men, I took a doula training in 2016. The more I learned, studied and experienced in this field, I realised that there is a lack of awareness around the importance of a healthy pelvic floor for general wellbeing alongside with shame and lack of opportunity to talk about issues like incontinence, prolapse and pain. I am passionate about doing my bit to change this by offering pelvic floor workshops for women. Another reality in a female body is a menstrual cycle and menopause. There is beautiful wisdom to be had when these female life and monthly cycles are embraced. Living as if we didn't have a cycle leads to ongoing underlying stress and a plenitude of health issues. In the era of the #metoo campaign, it is more evident than ever that there is a lot of trauma in women's bodies and hearts. I hold women's circles and half day retreats based in yoga which are a safe place to be and share.
