Remember The 400 Foundation is a non-profit corporation. We are a global organization, in the US, UK, and Canada, that aims to bring together individuals and like-minded organizations. We are dedicated to positively impacting efforts to heal the racial divide on a regional and international level... e Mission: Remember the 400’s mission is to empower our youth to tell the true story of the atrocities of Black Lives and our contributions globally; and to affect positive change in economic, equality and social justice where the descendants of the children of slavery reside today. Vision Our vision is that of an equitable society. One that fosters awareness and understanding amongst all racial/ethnic groups; and one that can provide the descendants of the Children of Slavery with the necessary tools, support, and foundation needed not only to thrive but to begin the process of healing the racial divide. Values Our obligation is to celebrate the achievements of the Children of Slavery and their descendants while setting the stage to move forward and towards racial tolerance and reconciliation by upholding the following values: Education: to bring about awareness of the identity, atrocities, and contributions of the Children of Slavery. Commitment: to healing the racial divide by cultivating economic empowerment, respect of families and personal integrity. Service to Others: lead, partner, or participate with community organizers, programs or events that serve to enhance the experience of our youth and promote equality and social justice. Leadership: inspiring the vision and setting the direction forward. Citizenship: fostering the precepts of respect and the rights and privileges of all cultures within society.

V Learning Network is a charitable company originally set up in 2001 as the lead of a consortium created to deliver adult and young people mainstream funded education. The consortium was made up of independent training providers in the Third Sector throughout Devon and Cornwall. In August 2021, due to some changes in funding, the nature and focus of the company shifted slightly. We are used to working in a proactive and agile way so have been able to adapt, evolve and innovate, and continue to do so. To fit the growing needs of the business and to strengthen our brand identity, we have changed the company name to V Learning Network trading as Step into Learning – Step Into Learning will be the sole, public facing name used across all our touchpoints going forwards. We still offer young people mainstream funded education and we currently work with three charities and Community Interest Groups (The Outdoor Place, Transferable Skills Training, Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change), enabling them to deliver high quality training by providing sustainable funding. The funding allows our partners to offer a range of training opportunities and deliver quality programmes within Cornwall. Step Into Learning also delivers quality, in-house training, projects and services via its own training division. Step Into Learning is based in Launceston, Cornwall, however, our reach extends much further. We offer training across Devon and Cornwall and have the scope to cover any geographical location due to our flexible delivery – face to face, blended learning (mix of face to face and online) and online. Step Into Learning specialise in working with learners looking to open up new career pathways, or those looking to get back into work. We are committed to giving back to our local community: * SILC is our counselling service providing free, confidential counselling for the Launceston community. * Our community larder for Launceston opened in May 2022. The focus of the community larder is reducing food waste and giving local people access to nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste.

Dennis is a Certified Money Coach (CMC)® and the founder of Cambridge Money Coaching. Money Coaching is a framework for understanding the unconscious patterns, beliefs and behaviours around money that we all have. This understanding is the key to achieving true financial independence and success because it drives our ability to make considered, long-term financial decisions. This is particularly important when we face the challenges of a sudden change in circumstances. Money is at the centre of our lives, but very few of us have been taught how to understand it or manage it. With over 30 years’ experience in financial services, Dennis offers clear, practical guidance on how to address the common problems associated with money choices, patterns, and the day-to-day management of money issues. He holds an Investment Advice Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI). Dennis believes strongly in building money awareness and helping young people prepare for the challenges of today’s world. He has been a Business Adviser with Youth Enterprise and worked with Cambridge schools as a mentor and guide to careers in Finance. Dennis is a regular guest on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire and panellist at Wealth Industry and Wellbeing events in the UK. He is also a Money Coach trainer for the Money Coaching Institute of California. About Cambridge Money Coaching Coping with money issues, both practically and psychologically, can be a major life struggle for many people and yet there is very little help available. Money can trigger emotions and dealing with money issues can make us feel anxious, angry, ashamed and powerless. These responses affect our relationships at home and at work, and prevent us from realising our full potential. Cambridge Money Coaching was set up to help people deal with the many challenges that money brings: how do I understand my behaviour around money? how do I talk to my children about money? how do I learn about saving and managing money? how do I learn about financial literacy and financial wellbeing? how do I raise financially capable children? how do I develop good money habits? how do I talk to my partner about my money fears? how do I manage conflict around money? how do I find people I can trust? Cambridge Money Coaching offers support and clear, unbiased and unconflicted guidance on how to understand and navigate the world of money and finance.
