gloucestershire care providers association
We hold regular meetings with a range of speakers; giving members the
opportunity to exchange views, network and obtain information on topical issues.
We send regular correspondence to ensure that members are kept up to date with
events, local or national government policy & regulatory changes that impact on
the Independent Sector. Membership of GCPA is considered a sign of a progressive
organisation, committed to delivering the highest standards of care and keen to
play an active part in the county’s wider social care community. Representatives
of the Gloucestershire Care Providers Association attend regular strategic and
liaison meetings with Social Care Officers, to discuss and review contracts,
procedures and other issues. We also work very closely with the NHS, including
the Clinical Commissioning Group and Gloucestershire NHS Foundation Trust
throughout the county, working together on a variety of initiatives aimed both
at tackling immediate issues facing vulnerable people and designing better ways
of working for the future. In addition we have strong links with CQC (Care
Quality Commission) and regularly liaise with Senior County Councillors, local
MPs, local authority Commissioners and other decision makers, influencers and
interested organisations. The GCPA adheres to a Consititution which all members
of The Association sign up to at point of Membership Application. The
Consititution can be found here.
