The British Islamic Medical Association (BIMA) serves to promote a better
understanding and appreciation of the principles and values of Islam amongst all
health care professionals. Thus protecting the health of patients and the
public. BIMA is a democratic, national organisation that aims to unite and
inspire Muslim healthcare professionals in the United Kingdom to serve their
communities. BIMA is a national affiliate of the Muslim Council of Britain
(MCB), and an international affiliate of the Federation of Islamic Medical
Associations (FIMA).
