All sessions provided by JC Sports Development concentrates on teaching the Fundamentals of Movement and the Fundamental Movement Skills required to play multi-skill activities as well as chosen sports. We provide sport specific sessions and/or build upon multi-skills learnt in other sessions. We assess and reflect on every session delivered and also ask for feedback from teachers, parents and children regularly in order to enhance the experience we offer. All associated Lead Coaches are either Teacher QTS qualified and/or hold Level 2 National Governing Body qualifications in the chosen sport, with assistant coaches holding a minimum of Level 1 National Governing Body qualification. All staff will have an enhanced DBS Criminal Records Check and are trained in Safeguarding, Child Protection, Disability Awareness and Treatment of Injury procedures.

Shy Bundy Co-Founder & CEO Pre Clinical Trainee Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist Shy is the CEO and Co-Founder of Young Black Psych. After completing his studies in Psychology at Nottingham Trent University, he moved to London to work as an Assistant Psychologist. He then trained in Therapeutic Play at the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education, and trained in the Solihull Approach for working with families. After 18 months in his AP role, he went on to work in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) as a practitioner delivering a range of individual and group therapeutic work. Outside of his NHS role, he is a podcaster, fitness enthusiast and Tavistock and Portman university student in the preclinical stages of his journey into becoming a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist.

TheHorseCourse is a world leader in well-evidenced high impact equine-assisted interventions. Having started in prisons, we now run a busy community-based HQ in Weymouth, Dorset, UK – an area of high deprivation. Employing 6 facilitators and 14 horses, we work with young people from 8yrs old, families and adults. In Dorset we help over 600 people with complex challenges and needs each year, and we do not charge the participants – our funding comes from a mix of commissioning and charitable grants/donations. We also provide Alternative Provision for young people out of education, accredited qualifications, and supported volunteering through our Working Wellies project. Our Non-verbals Toolbox training is a unique approach to emotions and relationships which we offer to professionals and the public on zoom or in workshops. We train and assess others to replicate our programmes and we work hard to support them in setting up their own centres around the UK. Independent centres running our programmes are becoming increasingly busy and more are opening. We monitor their impact data to ensure they are as effective as we are, and provide ongoing training. We hold an Animal Activity Licence from Dorset Council, No: 8060, licence holder: Harriet Laurie. We also maintain Social Farms & Gardens Green Care Quality Mark and the Charity Excellence Framework Quality Mark.
