A.K.M Rahamatullah is a Bangladeshi macramé-artist. He joined GoldenRope three years ago, which offers custom made macramé items, finished products and macramé workshops. He is a professional trainer of macramé products. He also gives training at government and non-government institutes around his country Bangladesh. His handmade products with natural materials are available on the e-shop. And because fiber art is a craft that deserves to be shared, Rahamatullah organizes macramé workshops throughout the year in Bangladesh.

Welcome to Cademy. I'm Chris Carter. I love exploring the world with pen and brush whether it be by land, sea or air! Here on Cademy, I present tips and techniques I've learned over a lifetime of sketching, drawing and painting. My classes are designed with two purposes in mind: to present tips and techniques that help you learn new skills and master current skills; and as quick reference for those of you who have attended one of my live workshops. I create large, abstract watercolours and oil paintings in my studio.  I travel more than half the year, painting and teaching live workshops mainly in the UK, Paris, California and Maryland. While traveling, I work realistically, mostly in sketchbooks.  Even when at home I make sure to sketch dailyt from reality to keep my eye, hand and brain coordination well-honed. tom sherlock

Born and raised in Birmingham, Tom has always been obsessed with making things. This obsession continued right through school and on to London where he studied furniture making. It was whilst in London his unusual style prompted his teacher to suggest he study sculpture. Taking his teachers advice after completing the year, he moved back to Birmingham and began his sculpture degree in Wolverhampton commuting daily before opting to move to West Wales School of Art - where they teach the fascinating process of bronze casting - to complete his degree. After completing his degree, Tom once again moved back to Birmingham where he continued his sculpture practise alongside working with family to further refine the carpentry and woodworking skills he learnt in London before setting up by himself a few years ago. The relatively recent decision to start offering courses came about almost by chance. The positive experience Tom had in West Wales ignited a desire to want to teach his skills to others – something that became even more apparent after taking on a couple of apprentices. However, with business being so busy it wasn’t until the apprentices highlighted the lack of woodworking courses available in the Birmingham area outside of full-time college or university courses. It was at this point Tom realised that this would be a great opportunity to give those interested in woodworking a way in without having to commit full time.

The Silver Zebra studio was established in 2004 and is situated in the beautiful county of Cheshire adjacent to the families farmhouse. I believe arts education should be accessible to all. Over the past few years, I have run experimental knitting and textile workshops across the country, including Leyden Gallery (Creature Dis-comforts, part of Whitechapel Gallery’s Nocturnal Creatures event), and at the Greenbelt, Supernormal and AntiUniversity festivals. I initially studied City & Guilds Embroidery, before gaining a First Class BA Hons degree in Fine Art.
