My Name is Bailey & I am a graduate of Manchester School of Art. My art focuses on well-being and mental health and how art can help improve those aspects of people’s lives. Much of my work has involved engaging with people from all walks of life, collaborating with other students and artists, arranging exhibitions and working with venues and Manchester-based charities and even setting up this website. Our Stories Matter combines my art (with a focus on self-care and wellbeing) with community input, be it personal stories about mental health or collaborations with charities and other artists. You can access free self-care downloads, purchase positive message products & see more of my work on this site!
Creative Barking and Dagenham (CBD) is about local people choosing, creating and taking part in brilliant art experiences in the borough. At the heart of our programme are the Cultural Connectors, an open and growing network of local residents. Cultural Connectors are decision-makers and local leaders of CBD – choosing the artists we work with and playing an active role in all our activities and events. CBD is part of Arts Council England’s Creative People and Places programme (CPP).
