‘Nellie and Eve’ is an indie yarn company based in rural West Wales, UK Founder
& dyer Helen Hickman hand dyes sustainably sourced wool yarns using botanical
extracts & natural dyeing methods. Colours are inspired by the landscape &
changing seasons of a Welsh mountain. Supporting small farms, production of
exclusive ‘Limited Edition’ & ‘Single Farm’ collections is kept to within 60
miles of Helens studio & spun at a family owned woollen mill. Mindful of the
environment yarns are dyed in small batches using water from a natural spring,
compostable materials & plastic free packaging. Nellie and Eve is named after
Helens Grandmothers Helen holds regular workshops in wool spinning, plant
dyeing, weaving & chunky hand spun knitting at various venues. For further info
