Our Beginnings In 1980, a small group of Buddhists travelled home to the UK, deeply moved by the suffering they had witnessed among the very poor, Dalit communities in Maharashtra, India and inspired by the teachings of social reformer Dr. Ambedkar. Deciding they needed to act, they began fundraising in the UK while living together in a community to save money. Before long, a new form of door-to-door fundraising based on the non-violent principles of Buddhism began to emerge and Aid for India, today known as Karuna, was created.

Our officers and consultants conduct one-on-one sessions with students. From deciding where to go, which college to select and which course to study, we are there to guide our students in the best way possible. Free Student Assessment At Lexmark Consultants, we are driven by the passion to aid students to secure enrolments in their desired institutes. We know that immigration laws, admission prerequisites and financial matters can be complex for students. These intricate details confuse pupils about their eligibility. Therefore, in our student assessment sessions, we aim to answer all the top questions of students, who want to study abroad. As we work closely with each student, we have an idea that fulfilling the dream of earning a degree from an international institute is not a mean feat and requires a solid financial backing. To reduce burden from their shoulders, we offer the service of assessment absolutely free of cost. But of course, it doesn’t mean that we compromise on the quality of our service. In the student assessment process, we determine a student’s eligibility in their preferred institute, discuss visa requirements, talk about immigration risks and documents requirements. In short, through this session, we assess eligibility and evidence that an applicant is required to present for the grant of a student visa.

They pioneered the application of in depth psychology and organisational behaviour theory to business and career development. TCEC re-branded as Careers in Depth in 2003 and continues to operate as a not-for-profit entity helping to provide its unique bespoke and transformative services to those who need it.

The Calibre programme has been run at North East London Foundation Trust every year since 2015. It was the first NHS Foundation Trust to host Calibre and over 50 members of disabled staff have completed the programme. These include doctors, nurses, specialist clinicians and professional staff as well. Not only has Calibre been beneficial to those member of staff, it has also benefited their managers, senior management and also the way in which disability is now understood at NELFT. Calibre is now integral part of the training offer to disabled staff at North East London Foundation Trust. I am a disabled person from a black and minority ethnic background, and an E&D consultant with fifteen years of experience as a trainer and specialist adviser. I spent twelve years as an academic at the Universities of Oxford, York and Surrey and have written seminal works on the experience of BME disabled people and social care. As a trainer, I have run disability and E&D training courses for Public Sector organisations such as the NHS, the Department of Health and Social Care, numerous Local Authorities, Universities and voluntary sector organisations. Since 2013, I have also run the Calibre Leadership Programmes for disabled staff at a number of Universities and NHS Trusts. If NHS foundation trusts like NELFT want to meet the needs of their disabled staff and see the improvements in their experience through the WDES. Then Calibre would be a key vehicle with which to meet their goals. See the NELFT virtual programme here
