am a true dog lover and I have 7 dogs: a welsh terrier, a fox terrier two standard poodles, a miniature poodles and two miniature schnauzers.
Welcome!! Our names are Gemma and Alex and we are a husband/wife team that provide a luxury dog grooming service - Shampoochies! We have a new salon that has opened at Hawgrips Garden Centre, Enderby in June 2020 as well as our custom built mobile grooming van that covers Leicester, Hinckley and Nuneaton. Our business was started all because of our founder - our Giant Schnauzer boy Euston who we tragically said goodbye to in May 2020. He taught us everything we know - not only his grooming needs but he taught us so much in terms of dog behaviour and handling techniques.
However I have raised many awesome pups many of whom have gone on to provide amazing support and companionship to people who have needed that extra bit of help. Yes I was a puppy parent, for two brilliant Assistance Dog charities, which I continue to support.
