The horse world is filled with labels, cliques and competition. Universal truths
are often lost in the tangle of marketing buzzwords, discipline-specific
language, and personal biases. However, most riders, regardless of discipline,
would agree that they want to work in harmony with their horse, and they want a
horse that is a pleasure to ride. Personal and competitive goals aside, they
want a versatile, well-trained horse and the skills to be a secure and effective
horseman or horsewoman.
