The St Bernadette Centre has recently undergone significant refurbishment and investment. The award gives students the chance to experience physical activities, volunteering, whilst developing life skills through expeditions; it is valued by universities and employees alike. During May half-term, Sixth Form students join the annual Diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes to care for and assist the sick and disabled pilgrims. This is a very popular extra-curricular opportunity which really demonstrates the faith of our students in action. Throughout the week God’s love in action is seen through the selfless service of the young people and their generosity of spirit, sharing their talents and energy and time willingly with others.

As soon as I could walk I loved to dance. As a professional actress for many years I sang and danced in numerous productions. In 2007, during a period of illness plus injury from two car accidents, I wanted to do more aerobic activity to keep my spirits up. I pretty much loathed the intimidating atmosphere of the gym and was delighted to find the perfect combination of exercise and dance with ZUMBA. Back then, hardly anyone had heard of it and my ranting of how good it was was largely ignored. Now, of course, people all over the world join in the fun! Spurred on by friends and a couple of my ZUMBA instructors - I took the plunge to officially qualify and start my own classes. All ZUMBA instructors have their own 'flavour’. I am no spring chicken and hope to inspire some who may feel they are too old to boogie, or have worries about their physical capabilities for exercising. My aim is simple - to help you feel good about yourself! I teach Zumba Fitness, Zumba Gold, Zumba Gold Toning and Zumba Gold Seated/Supported in community venues and retirement villages in the Bristol area UK. The APS SPORTS AND TRAINING Football Club is a competitive soccer club founded in 2015 based upon the founders desire to teach life lessons through soccer. The Clubs commitment is to use its resources to provide world-class training, develop first-rate facilities, and engender a passionate love for the game of soccer. While the players, coaches and staff strive to succeed at the highest possible level, the development of the player as a person is emphasized first and foremost. The APS SPORTS AND TRAINING Football Club is a nonprofit entity that qualifies as a charitable organization of the Internal Revenue Code. The Club strives to make its programs available to all youth players who have a sincere desire to learn to play soccer at a competitive level, and the Club has an active scholarship committee that makes financial aid available to those who need financial assistance to participate in the Clubs programs. The Club is governed by a board of directors that meets on a regular basis, and the day-to-day activities of the Club are implemented by the Director of Coaching. The APS SPORTS AND TRAINING Football Club has been a positive force in the local soccer community for over a decade. More importantly, our Club has been important in shaping the lives of children through the great sport of soccer. This made them realise that ordinary girls can achieve great things. This book has been an inspiration and a live partner and tells the story of a poor girl, who made it all the way up to be the most powerful woman in an Empire. M∙prez Enterprise is an organization formed on behalf of women, children and young people in the fields of arts, culture, education, technology, communication, science and health. It supports them in their creative endeavors in those fields and other areas that affect them. The company is limited by guarantee since 2009, but has ran projects and activities in partnership and in a freelance capacity. We began a journey where M-prez Enterprise started organising events, produced music, created a radio show called Gheto Yuth Vibez and a TV show called Triple T. M-prez Enterprise’s original founders were: Tortie, Chaos and Drama, and Eve 1. Over the past years, M-prez Enterprise has formed international networks to be a resource that strives collectively to provide opportunities for various participants especially for women and young people. We engage participants through these disciplines and all the other areas that are for the benefit of women, children, and young people across the globe to transform their lives. During the academic year 2020-2021, NFEC held a number of online seminars which focussed on preparing for the launch in September 2022 of the three T-Levels planned for the Engineering sector; T Level technical qualification in Design and Development for Engineering and Manufacturing T Level technical qualification in Maintenance, Installation and Repair for Engineering and Manufacturing T Level technical qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Processing and Control During the course of these webinars it became clear that one of the foremost challenges facing NFEC members in delivering the new T-Levels would be in the sourcing, management and measurement of the substantial work placements of 315 hours which form part of the overall T-Level qualification. NFEC committed to collate some case studies, contributed from NFEC member colleges to illustrate the strategies that had been employed so far to build capacity for work placements, ahead of T-Level launch, and to provide shared resources to aid all members in their own planning and implementation. The report which has resulted consists of three cases studies and shared resources from three NFEC member colleges representing various settings, geographies and demographics. Skills Development Program (previously called as Business English & Skills Development Program) at the Center for Executive Education has been providing language and academic proficiency courses for more than two decade. Business English Program started at the instance of US AID in the year 1989-1990 for 16 and 17 grade officers who wanted to avail the scholarships which otherwise went un-utilized. The maximum amount of scholarships was availed by the candidates who prepared at the IBA to get the required scores in GRE and TOEFL. Later, the Russian Government wanted to give exposure to their employees, therefore, they were sent to this program to learn the English Language. Immediately after that the department started catering to under graduate Pakistani students to develop and enhance their skills in English, Mathematics and General Knowledge. The Business English Program commenced in the year 1998 and has proved to be a sought after program by professionals in the Junior & Middle Executive cadre. In 2013, the department with its new name enhanced its offering and conducted several new courses. These programs are skills based and targeted towards executives, professionals, business owners, teachers, school leaders and students working in various work spheres to enhance their analytic and technical skills set.
