Hi! I’m Nicola and I am the founder of Little Love Harts. I am a certified Blossom and Berry Baby Massage and Baby Yoga instructor and a qualified Hypnobirthing Instructor with The Calm Birth School I also hold as BSc in Social Science and have always been interested in people, other cultures, why they do things & how they benefit both families and society. I am married to Andy have a little boy Hugo R Hart our very own HRH – he is both my why and how for becoming a Baby Massage, Baby Yoga and Hypnobirthing instructor. I loved Hypnobirthing and the tools it taught me to prepare for a safe, empowering and positive birth. Despite our birth not going to what we had ‘planned’ or rather what my first preference was, utilising the tools and techniques my husband and I had learnt through Hypnobirthing we were able to have the best birth ever!! Like many I found the first few months of motherhood very overwhelming – my world flipped 180 in both an amazing and positive way – which obviously I am so grateful for, but also in a scary and at times, lonely way. In having my son I both lost myself and found myself all at the same time… My aim with Little Love Harts is to give the tool for safe, empowered and calm births and to teach parents that they are enough for their baby, yes read the books, yes seek advice from family, friends and when needed professionals – but always know that you are all your baby needs. At Little Love Harts I the importance of love and connection through nurturing touch, massage & yoga to help babies and children reach their full potential & make the world abetter place. My mission is to grow babies with love, touch, responsive care and positive interaction. Little Love Harts aim is to create nurturing experiences for all parents and babies to deepen their connection and confidence. I want to make sure that parents feel nurtured and in turn get the space and tool to nurture their babies in a loving and supportive environment. My classes are an inclusive, accepting, welcoming and safe space for all. I am committed to promoting the wellbeing of parents and babies through the provision of inclusive, educational and supportive classes and services. We are two professional mums with backgrounds in performing arts who share a passion for early learning adventure and magic. When our toddlers were still in infant-hood we spent months attending classes for babies and toddlers hoping to find one that offered live music, performance and movement with a focus on language development and social awareness. We couldn’t find anything that matched our vision, so we decided to combine our skills and develop an unrivaled concept in early learning baby and toddler classes. Performing arts, a platform for early learning! It’s been proven in countless case studies that music aids in a child’s early development, but we were looking for something more than simply music classes, we were hoping to find classes that offered a platform to develop a child’s confidence and social skills, classes that would help toddlers to shine and prepare them not just for nursery and school but for their later years. Teddy’s Playhouse was formed in December 2016 with a vision to create a magical adventure for infants and toddlers through music, song, rhyme, performance, role play, dance and movement; all of which are keyed to supporting language skill development, social awareness and confidence building. Our classes for babies and toddlers fire-up ‘little imaginations’ Our classes are structured to fire-up, nurture and aid in enhancing ‘little imaginations’. Our classes for baby and toddlers are fun, interactive and themed with live music, sensory learning objects, puppets and characters from well known and loved nursery rhymes, lead by professionally trained actors and musicians.

Established in early 2016 the company was founded by Managing Director Graeme Rundle, to provide professional quality medical staff to events whatever the requirements, from First Aiders to Doctors and other Health Care Professionals whether this be on foot, car, ambulance or cycles. Graeme’s aim was to focus on quality, reliabilty and friendliness of staff and felt that his teams where needed should be part of and involved in the event and not just in the background waiting to be called up on and as part of the event prevent incidents occuring. A key focus was to have staff trained to nationally recognised standards and all staff are offered continued training and undergo regular refresher and up skilling training from first aid, incident management, trauma and safegaurding to name a few.

I am a self employed artist, tutor and workshop leader. My personal working practice is figurative, incorporating my own dance movement language and working from other models and figurative imagery in the out comes of drawing, mixed media, art works, painting and printmaking. I have recently began to explore sculptural mediums and working with clay and throwing on the wheel. I am particularly inspired by the visual narrative gained from documentary and fashion photography and use my own and sourced photography as a visual aid. I currently I am currently teach and facilitate a regular figure and life drawing class, which is of a good standard. I enjoy tutoring adults as well as joining in with drawing and allowing others valid input into the group. I also run family Saturday morning art workshops at ocean studios which have included experimental painting and fun painting and drawing games, narrative book making, clay tiles, printing, marbling, badge making etc I also own my own portable printing press and can lead monotype, dry point etching and Collagraph print-making. I recently completed a year-long ‘defining practice’ course at the Newly School of Art and I endeavour to continue developing my own artists practice as well as working within the community in diverse ways, whilst drawing upon my wealth of experience. I am also keen to make drawn portraits of people at community street events. I continually visit and enjoy art exhibitions, live music, arts cinema, dance performance, theatre, comedy, street performance.

I am Dorothea Scales. I have founded Fidas Consent Training because I want to share my knowledge and experience of dealing with sexual assaults and rapes which I gained during my career as a Detective Sergeant. I have combined my passion for safeguarding with my enthusiasm for training – having an MA in education and being a qualified teacher gave me the skills set to develop and deliver my courses. Since leaving the Police in October 2021, I have already delivered to hundreds of students, pupils and their teachers, to Designated Safeguarding Leaders and University students, colleges, youth organisations, charities, and apprentices   I have combined my expertise as an ex-Detective Sergeant in Safeguarding and my experience as a teacher, to develop my completely unique consent workshops, presentations and now a cost effective eLearning package . I have trained Detectives, Police cadets and Police Special constables and probationers. I have developed courses for Police officers in dealing sensitively with victims of rape and confronting myths and misconceptions. I have lead  leading a Pilot project for Durham County Council in delivering consent workshops to local secondary schools.   Fidas Consent Training is about sharing my passion for safeguarding the truly vulnerable and giving every person an informed choice about consent.   As a qualified, experienced, and passionate safeguarding specialist, I have 16 years’ experience as a Police Officer, protecting the rights of children, young people, and adults. I have always been driven by making a positive difference to the vulnerable. During my time in education and the Police, I have developed additional skills in risk management, people leadership and managing the most complex investigations which demand a sensitive and compassionate response. Victim focused and people centred in my work, I championed change in the police and built strong alliances with partner organisations As a Detective Sergeant within the Safeguarding unit I dealt with victims and suspects of rape and sexual assaults on a daily basis, often from report to court. I know and understand all the devastating consequences of not understanding or ignoring consent and want to share my experience with young people for a better future.
