If you have access to woodlands and permission to use it then I can offer a more traditional Forest School experience. This will usually be blocks of 5 or 6 sessions for up to 10 children at a time. Each session will last 2 hours and include a drink and snack. Alternative Forest School / PPA Cover This version of Forest School is more structured to allow a whole class to take part. This can be part of your PPA time planning as I only need one LSA for a class of 30 children. Each session lasts for 2 hours and includes a drink and snack. Don’t worry if you haven’t got a large woods – it works on playing fields next to shrubby areas with a few trees and hedges. Pricing I charge £125 per 2-hour session. This includes VAT and all materials and resources used. There may be additional costs for transport if you are not local. Why Me? I am DBS checked, Outdoor First Aid trained and a Qualified Teacher. The Learning Ranger is fully insured, including Public Liability, and activities are Risk Assessed. I will bring everything that’s needed for the activities, apart from any additional adults that are required. Session times and activities are fully flexible and I am always happy to tailor them to your needs. What is Forest School? Forest School is an inspirational process that has been developing in Scandinavian countries since the 1950’s but only made its way over to Britain in the mid 1990’s. Its basic aim is to connect children and adults with nature whilst supporting their social, emotional and physical development. Forest School sessions provide children and adults the opportunity to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning and play. Activities during Forest School sessions may include shelter building, fire lighting, using tools, outdoor cooking, games and self-led discovery.

I started commuting to work in Camden by bicycle in 2011 having not cycled for over 25 years. I enjoyed it so much, I soon joined a local cycle club. The Blue Cycle Training business, based in Enfield, started in 2015 in partnership with a local Bike shop after I taught my 2 children to ride bicycles for the first time. The business has grown from doing 3 or 4 Learn to Ride A Bicycle sessions a month to over 100 a month in the spring and summer months. The Learn to Ride a Bike lessons are normally 1 to 1 but groups sessions with more than 3 children or adults can be arranged with additional instructors. 90% of our customers are riding after their first lesson and often come back for a 2nd lesson to further practice their bike handling skills. The fleet of bicycles available for my lessons have increased to over 70 . These range from Balance bikes and pedal bikes for children as well as a few bikes for Adults. I use Frog bicycles for my lessons as these are some of the lightest bicycles on the market and I have a few that can be hired for a day, week, month or longer. Blue Cycle Training now operates mainly out of Keble School in Winchmore Hill, N21 at the weekends and school holidays though we also have worked in Broxbourne and Barnet. Other cycling activities including balance bikes and cycle skills lessons as well as Park Rides and Learn to Ride a bike on the road lessons. All Instructors are qualified to the National Cycling standard, hold DBS certificates , First Aid trained and have the relevant insurance. Customers have travelled from Enfield, Barnet, Hertfordshire, Camden, Harlow, Broxbourne, Kensington, Canvey Island for our Learn to Ride a Bicycle lessons. Blue Cycle Training have also successfully provided Learn to Ride a Bike sessions in schools located in Barnet and Enfield for children in Years 1 to 4.

I want to help you feel fitter, healthier and more confident. Over the last decade I have helped hundreds of women on their fitness journeys and learnt invaluable tools and tips along the way about how to get you the best most sustainable results possible and I want to give that all to you. I am passionate about fitness and health and helping you is what drives me to keep going. My workouts and programs bring all my experience and knowledge together and provide you with the tools you need to achieve your fitness goals. With a Warrior community of support you'll enjoy every step of the journey. Where It Started In a small martial arts club in Essex where I found my fitness, my confidence and my strength and realised just how important exercise is for both mental and physical wellness. That initial training has never left me and even now I can still hear the words of one of my trainers ringing in my ears 'Just get on with it Jamie!' So I do, every day, I get on with the business of fitness of bringing fitness to as many people as I can so that you can experience the power that exercise has to transform your life My Goals To continue bringing the love and power of exercise to as many people as possible and if we can have fun along the way then it's even better. I have a particular interest in Womens health and wellness and as well as donating regularly to the national charity Women's Aid, I fundraise where possible and help spread awareness to help women and girls in this country and abroad and I would love every year for my fundraising to grow and grow and grow!
