LPF Kiddies Club is a multi-award winning, non-profit, out of school club based in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, that works with African and Caribbean children aged 5 to 14 years old who live in the Abbey Wood and Thamesmead areas, and their families. We work to support families of children living in the Boroughs of Greenwich and Bexley. Our school holiday club offers a wide range of fun and engaging workshops, activities, outings and day trips for children to participate in during the school holidays in safe environments where they are able to have fun and make new friends whilst developing and learning new skills. We create and deliver socially, culturally and educationally enriching projects, programs, workshops and community events for the benefit of the community as a whole via LPF Kiddies Club’s; Out of School club, STEM Heroes Science Club, Art, history and Culture club, and our Summer School. Our aim is to develop and enhance the potential, skills and talents of the young children we work with so that they may become role models and future leaders by equipping them and their families with the knowledge, skills social capital needed to raise their attainment levels, break social immobility and improve their life chances through education and personal development.

Stone Farm Study Centre is located on the edge of Dartmoor in the heart of the Devon countryside. Set in the foothills of the National Park, the site boasts 110 acres of organic park-land pasture and is an idyllic retreat for children to visit. Among 17th century listed buildings we have a traditional working farm where every morning and evening visiting groups can help with supervised farm jobs - complete with pigs, sheep, rabbits, guinea pigs, goats, alpacas, a donkey, a pony, 'Hedwig' the African eagle owl and resident sheepdog Baloo there really is something for everyone! Stone Farm also has its own onsite lake where, if lucky, the children will be able to spot local birdlife including ducks, geese, moorhen and kingfishers. When taking a nature walk in the adjoining woodland we often see deer, foxes and badgers. First established in 1992 by two former teachers, Stone Farm Study Centre has welcomed schools for 30 years and we understand the educational, physical and emotional benefits school visits offer. We have attempted to create a Study Centre which we would want to visit ourselves and an environment in which every child can flourish and grow. We work closely with every school to ensure our on-site activities, and the excursions you choose in the local area, incorporate and complement the curriculum of each year group. Set up specifically and exclusively for primary schools, we welcome KS2 groups from across the country for 3 or 4 night visits.

David Simon is an author and educationalist. He is the author of the Genius series that includes the best-selling books How to Unlock Your Child’s Genius and How to Unlock Your Genius Using Black History. He co-founded Simon Education in 1987 which has gone on to support over 6000 African-Caribbean families in the UK. He has won numerous awards as an educationalist and a novelist/poet, including the Peterloo Poetry Award. He is also the founder of Black Book Festival, an annual event to promote Black writers globally. David’s other publications includes: Secrets of the Sapodilla (1986), the play Mountaintop (1987) which was nominated for the London Fringe Awards, the novels Garvey’s Last Soldier (1999) and Pastor Pastor (2019). The company currently runs a publishing house, an online school and provides teacher-training to schools in Africa and the Caribbean. Leonora Simon-Bleasdille has worked as a scientist for over 35 years and taught students at primary, secondary and tertiary levels. She co-founded Ebony Supplementary Saturday School, now Simon Education, where I taught English, mathematics, science, and Black history for over 35 years. Nneb Akpom-Simon has worked in supplementary education for 30 years; tutoring and coaching children, young people and parents. About Sarah's Swim Academy Safety, fun and fitness - these are the key values we at Sarah’s Swim Academy advocate. In the South African context, water is everywhere. For a child who cannot swim, this can lead to disaster. It becomes particularly dangerous if the adults around a child cannot swim either. An instance where a child who innocently stumbles into a bucket of water, falls from a boat, leans over too far while looking at fish in a fish pond, falls or is pushed by another child into a pool could turn deadly if that child can't swim. From our watertoddlers to our adults, the safety of all our swimmers is our first priority. Swimming is an extremely important life saving skill that you should not neglect. Our philosophy is simple To passionately deliver the highest quality swimming experience to toddlers, children and adults while staying safe, having fun and keeping fit. Our classes are built around safety in the water. Our focus is to teach swimming from toddler to adulthood in a safe environment for all swimmers. We encourage parents to get involved in teaching their toddlers basic safety skills in the water and we assist parents to develop their toddlers’ natural swimming ability. As with any activity, an element of fun must always be present. Fun motivates us to continue to learn and hang in there when things become a little more challenging. We achieve this through play, which creates a fun and exciting environment for all levels of swimmers.
