Natalie started dancing at the age of 3 before training full time at London based performing arts schools and colleges, where she obtained her ISTD DDI teaching qualifications in Ballet, Tap and Modern. Natalie is now working on her final two units to obtain DDE status. She has over 15 years’ teaching experience within dance school and educational environments. Her dance school credentials include teacher and choreographer roles at Accents’ Dance Studio, Canada and the Tamworth Academy of Dance. She also has extensive experience teaching at educational colleges operating within a regulated training framework, including Coventry City College and North Warwickshire & Hinckley College.

This is a fun, welcoming class which is suitable for Adults of all ages and Abilities. Currently classes are pay as you go £5 per class paid on arrival (Cash or card) Please wear something comfortable that you can dance in, and don't worry - we keep our clothes on! The class comprises of a mixture of styles to create fun choreography, sometimes with the use of props. Class starts with a warm up, we keep it similar each week to help you become familiar with the steps. Next we move to the choreography section where we learn a dance, each dance takes approximately 1 half term to learn. Don't worry if you are new, we recap each week so you won't fall behind. The class then moves to a cool down at the end. Most dancers do this class in bare feet. We do use props in some of our dances however this can all be adapted to suit you so that every dancer is working at a level suitable to them! We have some people in the room who have never danced before and others who have danced for 20 years! Everybody is welcome!

Our Pre-Primary Ballet Classes (for boys and girls) are aimed at slightly older children. Each week children begin to learn the basics of ballet as well as continuing to develop posture and coordination of motor skills. The school follow the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) syllabus where children have the opportunity to work towards examinations and medals (it is however not compulsory and children are more than welcome to just participate and move up to the next level without assessments taking place). Alongside learning the IDTA syllabus children will also participate in other ballet class exercises and activities designed by the Teachers to help build imagination, creativity and social skills.

The Vicky Grant School of Dance is a Cambridgeshire based dance school offering excellent training to students aged three years and above. We offer a wide range of styles, so whether your child is interested in working towards exams, or just dancing for fun, we have classes for all. We are an approved British Theatre Dance Association (BTDA) Exam Centre. All teachers are trained professionals and hold full DBS licenses and first aid certificates. We are passionate about offering a friendly and happy environment for you and your children to learn.  Students studying graded subjects have the opportunity to take examinations and performance awards and we are extremely proud to hold a 100% pass rate.  All dance students have the chance to appear in our annual show and summer schools and a selected group of students make up our Gala Troupe and perform at a variety of events throughout the year.  The school has a steady flow of students successfully auditioning at vocational colleges and working professionally all over the world.
