A one-day training for counsellors, nurses, managers and healthcare practitioners who want to learn how to set up and facilitate Reflective Practice groups. Reflective Practice is the cornerstone of professionalism in healthcare. It develops clinical skills, improves decision-making, enhances work satisfaction, and reduces burnout.

Learners will gain the knowledge, skills and competences needed to deal with a wide range of pre-hospital care emergencies, such as: managing a patient’s airways, catastrophic bleeding, management of fractures, medical emergencies and more. Endorsed by The Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care – The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and fulfilling the competencies set out in the PHEM skills framework at descriptor level D, this fantastic qualification is perfect for a range of roles in emergency care, such as: Ambulance Care Assistant (PTS), Community First Responder or Event First Responder and more. Learners must be at least 17 years old on the first day of training. Learners must hold a valid in date FREC3 certificate. The Learner needs to retake the qualification before the certificate expiry date to remain qualified. This qualification is for people who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities to provide prehospital care to patients requiring emergency care/treatment. It is ideal for those looking to progress their careers within the emergency services, ambulance services, healthcare settings and supports specialist medical roles within law enforcement and security, energy and utilities, construction and military. 

An enriching and creative day led by artist and art educator Lucy Perry to immerse students in floral forms through expressive and painterly techniques. SATURDAY 9th August 2025 Beautiful Brusho Blooms: The day starts with some quick observational drawing exercises in the garden to get to know our glorious subject matter. Lucy will guide students through explorations of colourful blooms in Brusho watercolour dyes, creating vibrant and lively studies using expressive brushwork techniques, wax resist and dip pen with ink. As the day unfolds, students have the freedom to select a specific subject and method for more in-depth exploration.  Who is this course for? This course is for anyone who loves natural forms and wants to find exciting ways to explore them artistically. You might be at the beginning of your art journey or you might be an artist or designer with lots of experience but looking for new ideas and the opportunity to take part in new art practices with like-minded folk...new ways of seeing, leading to new possibilities. It will also provide you with an opportunity to relax and focus on mindful activities; restorative and connected to nature. What is included? Tea, coffee and cake are provided. Aprons are provided. Please bring a packed lunch. Free parking on site.
