The theory assessment provides delegates with the essential knowledge to select, monitor, manage and plan the correct use of Harnesses and lanyards for use in a MEWP. Delegates successfully completing the e-learning will: Have an awareness of how to correctly identify and select the appropriate form of personal protection against falls from MEWPs. Have a theoretical awareness only of how to check, use, maintain and store a harness and lanyard with manufacturer’s instructions. Have a theoretical awareness of how harnesses and lanyards should be fitted and adjusted.

The Emergency Fist Aid at Work is an accredited 1 day, instructor led course in a fully equipped training room. We use a mixture of training methods such as hands on activities, role play, group discussion, games and the use of equipment / technology to cover the different learning styles of the individual. All learners will have the skills and knowledge to provide the organisation with Emergency First Aider’s that can provide treatment to their casualties in a prompt, safe and effective manner. A range of subjects are covered including:- • Responsibilities and reporting • Resuscitation and AED awareness • Burns • Assessment of the situation • Anatomy • Choking • Dealing with an unresponsive casualty • Minor injuries • Epilepsy • Basic hygiene in First Aid • Bleeding control • Shock Certification Practical assessment is ongoing by the instructor, and a three year qualification will be issued to those who satisfy the criteria. In addition, the HSE strongly recommend that all students undergo an annual refresher programme of three hours. Instructions Please can learners ensure they wear trousers and a full shoe. Learners need to be physically fit and well to undertake the activities for First Aid Training, which requires learners to carryout CPR on the floor. A three hour slab-building pottery workshop, using stoneware clays to make mess and memories. And Pots! Come play with Clay!

This course teaches you English as a foreign language. Starting from a few basic words, we then work though the structures of the language step by step, learning new grammar and vocabulary as we go. We pay close attention to pronunciation, and make use of the IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) to help us with this. The course is taught by a British English native speaker. But, because English is an international language, we will listen to various accents throughout the course.

Including reindeer..add a red nose, Xmas trees...add a little tinsel snow to the top and a 10" rush angel for the top of your tree, plus stars, and mini wreath hoops. Festive snacks and a glass of mulled wine included.
