For those with some experience in latte art or needing a refresher, our Latte Art Improvers Workshop is a two-hour session where you'll brush up on your skills. We'll cover finer points of latte art for baristas or coffee enthusiasts who feel confident about pouring a heart and are ready to try some more intermediate patterns such as tulips and rosettas. The course is a hands-on, practical experience where you will work alongside Benny, an experienced speciality coffee barista, to learn all about latte art and up your game. You'll learn tips behind getting perfectly-textured milk, watch demonstrations and then use our top-quality equipment to have plenty of goes yourself at pouring patterns, with constant feedback and guidance. We also specifically cater towards non-dairy milk drinkers too, so please let us know in advance whether you would like to learn with oat milk or dairy by entering it in your booking notes. Three hour masterclass If you don't have any experience in latte art and want to start from scratch, we also run a 3-hour 'masterclass' which is perfect if you want a more comprehensive session. The half-day glass fusing course is designed to give total beginners an introduction to a new skill...and have some fun! At the end of the 3hrs, you will have created 4 coasters (10cm x 10cm) or fused glass wave (20cm). I keep the glass fusing classes small, to make sure it's easy to give everyone as much input as is required. There is a 2m gap between all work-stations, to help maintain social distancing. We also provide visors (or you can wear your own mask), and there is lots & lots of hand sanitiser. All equipment & materials are disinfected before the start of each day. You don't need to bring any materials, as everything required to design & create the coasters or wave is provided. The only thing you need to wear are closed shoes (e.g. no sandals), and to bring some lunch. We can also arrange lunch at a small cost, if required. You'll start the day by creating a design - you can bring your own, or we can provide a design. You'll learn how to cut the glass & then build up your design which is then fired overnight. You will be able to collect your design the next day, or we can arrange to post it to you (you just need to cover the cost of the postage). Timings: 10am - 1pm Buying as a gift? A fully qualified and GTCS registered teacher within Saturday School Limited’s SQA Approved Centre. Tutorial style completion of exam standard questions and analysis of the worked solutions by application of the SQA marking instructions. Focus on further developing exam technique, knowledge consolidation and problem solving skills. Subsequent ongoing support online, seven days per week, from expert tutors via a secure, online learning platform. This gives students the opportunity to ask questions, seek support and download from Saturday School Limited’s bank of learning materials all the way through to the final exam. All stationery and learning materials. A half-hour break with snacks and refreshments provided. Easter Revision classes are aimed at anyone studying SQA National 5 or Higher Biology, Chemistry, English, Human Biology, Maths, Physics or Spanish. 

Various dates are not available for your full day Pottery Experience. Fill instruction and demonstration throughout the day will enable you to try a variety of handbuilding skills and chance to have a go on a pottery wheel. Bring a packed lunch and join us for a day of clay play fun. Refreshments are provided. Cost includes all materials plus kiln firing and glazing of your finished small project pieces.
