Born at the Right Time’s 2-hours CPD certified Building Partnerships: An Introductory Course in Communicating with Parent/Caregivers is founded on the lived experience of families of children with complex needs. It is about listening to and working with parent/carers to deliver a service which is child-centred and supportive of both the family and school.
This course is focused on practitioners working across the social care sector whether as a social worker in a Children with Disabilities or Adult Social Care team, Residential or Day Services. Through it you will be introduced to the reality of lived experience (thinking about one family’s story), communication, co-production and specific issues for professionals working with parents.
