Description

Inner Fire Retreat

with Visiting Teacher, Gen Kelsang Paljin (Resident Teacher of Buddha Land and Burnley KBCs)

Saturday 26th August (Introduction 7:30pm) to Sunday 27th 9:30am-5pm

Gen Paljin will explain step by step how we can generate a deeply peaceful and concentrated mind by harnessing the subtle energy system within our body. With this blissful awareness we can uncover our true nature, destroy ignorance and suffering at its root and swiftly become a source of inspiration and benefit to others.

This retreat is based on the teachings on Inner Fire or Tummo in the Tantric meditation manual ‘Clear Light of Bliss.’ In this book, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso reveals the profound practices of the ancient yogis and yoginis and makes their blissful experience accessible to the modern world.

Gen Kelsang Päljin has practised and studied Kadampa Buddhism for over 20 years. He is much loved by his students for his precise and clear instructions of Buddha’s teachings, using everyday examples he is able to show how meditation can be practiced leading to lasting happiness. His exemplary teachings are deeply insightful and paractical and deleivered with great warmth and compassion.

This retreat is open to anyone who has had a Highest Yoga Tantra Empowerment or who has a strong intention to take one at the next available opportunity.

Course fee: £25 for non-members/ £10 for members.
