Legionella awareness is suitable for any persons wanting to gain an understanding of Legionella and how to prevent or control the risk of exposure to Legionella bacteria.

How is the course assessed?

There is a multiple-choice examination at the end of the course, to test the candidate's learning and for which the training provider will invigilate. Upon successful completion, candidates receive a course completion certificate.

This course would benefit the competent person, duty holders and staff who deal with the maintenance of water systems in the workplace. E.g. property manager, building manager, maintenance manager, cleaners.
