Join us for the first of our in-person sessions hosted by Cedar Mount Academy, M18 7DT. This session on Electricity is led by Graham Perrin, Physics Partners Coach.

This session clarifies current, voltage, and resistance. It addresses misconceptions about electron speed and energy transfer using the "rope loop" and "continuous belt" models. Participants explore career connections like electrical engineering and marine electrician, which rely on physics principles such as Ohm's law, which is explored through the required practicals.

This session is fully-funded and delivered by Physics Partners. This session is part of the Manchester South Physics Hub series of twilight sessions for physics teachers, particularly non-specialists and early career teachers. Technicians are also welcome to attend.
