The Talk - WORK LIKE A COMEDIAN
Comedian, speaker and tired ex-middle manager, Mel Byron, invites you to Work Like a Comedian.
A comedy set lasts no more than 20 minutes but takes many hours to perfect. How can applying parts of the comedian's craft help us in our own work? And can it cheer up the seventy percent of us feeling unfulfilled in our jobs?
Yes, that pointless jargon (Key Performance Indicators, anyone?), and those even more pointless employee perks are really getting us down. Not to mention the endless meetings about meetings.
In this fun (of course), informative, and sometimes surprising session, Mel will focus on the importance of Creativity, Confidence and Conscience (that’s how we make other people feel, a huge part of workplace happiness).
And, of course, we'll talk about humour and very probably have some laughs.
Come and celebrate summer with fellow Maldon District businesses in a memorable setting.
Places are limited, so early booking is recommended.
Please note: This event is for businesses and residents based in the Maldon District. You will need to provide a qualifying address when booking.
