Dia was such a great teacher. He really explained the history of Djembe drumming and was welcoming to all abilities. The class was definitely challenging (I am a beginner and it was my first time practicing Djembe) but I loved the challenge and would love to come back to improve my skills.

Highly recommended!! I am visiting London and just dropped in. The class is amazing and so is Dia!! He is very kind and humble, patiently taught us the basics of djembe playing, a rhythm accompaniment with a break, warmup for dancers and the call for the rhythm. All in such a short time. He also gave little demos and time for us to solo in the rhythm. I was surprised we did so much in just over an hour and all this while learning about the rhythm and correcting several times.

Dia did a wonderful job fixing a broken Djembe I had. I would definitely recommend him for this service.
