In this funded session, we will explore the topics that students struggle with or are difficult to teach in the Welsh Curriculum (but also suitable for other curriculums). Physics can be difficult to teach as students have many misconceptions that are rooted in observations. The laws of physics do not seem to work leading to confusion and the idea that physics is difficult/boring. Suitable for specialist and non-specialist teachers this event will be live at Caer Elen School in Haverfordwest from 4 to 5:30 but will also be available online. Please bring topics you would like to discuss.
This session is being delivered by Neil Atkin from Physics Partners and Alessio Bernadelli from the Institute of Physics. Please pass on the information about the meeting to colleagues and contacts who may find it useful.
