Description

Join us for the inaugural in-person session for the Brighton & Hove Physics hub led by Charlotte Lacny, Physics Partners Coach and hosted by Cardinal Newman Catholic School, Hove.

Teaching Infra-red Radiation at KS4

Join us to explore ways to teach infra-red radiation to KS4 pupils. We will look at the demonstration of the required practical using a Leslie Cube as well as sharing ideas for how a class practical version is set up in our own schools. Throughout the session we will be linking the various versions of the required practical to past exam questions.

Expect cake, new ideas and a chance for hands-on experimentation.

This session is fully-funded and delivered by Physics Partners and is part of the Brighton Physics Hub series of twilight sessions for physics teachers, particularly non-specialists and early career teachers. Technicians are also welcome to attend.
