Description

This in-person workshop on Energy is led by Eleanor Wylie, Physics Partners Coach and hosted by the Physics department at UEA.

Refreshments and the opportunity to network from 4.15pm in the foyer of the New Science Building.

This session is aimed at ECTs, trainee teachers and experienced teachers who are not physics specialists. The focus will be on KS3 and KS4. We will be looking at hands on, inclusive ways and fun ways to develop students understanding of energy and to challenge their misconceptions. Then we’ll move onto using practical work to get to grips to with energy calculations

This session is fully-funded and delivered by Physics Partners. This session forms part of the Norwich Physics Hub series of twilight sessions for physics teachers, particularly non-specialists, teacher trainees and early career teachers. Technicians are also welcome to attend.
