Join us for this in-person session supporting KS5 physics teaching led by Physics Partners Coach Jean-Michel Jacquinot, Head of Physics at Roundwood Park School.

Required Practicals part 2: Thermal Physics and Capacitance

We will look at the A-level required practicals for thermal physics as well as for capacitance, discussing the difficulties students encounter and the opportunity for specific skill developments relating to the relevant apparatus and CPAC criteria. A choice selection of exam questions will also be covered in the context of these practicals, as well as discussing the best way to assess them.

This session is fully-funded and delivered by Physics Partners. The session is part of the North West Herts Physics Hub series of twilight sessions for physics teachers, particularly non-specialists and early career teachers. Technicians are also welcome to attend.
