Magnetism and Electromagnetism at KS4 (session 2 of 2) - online session

Description

Join us for an hour of online subject knowledge CPD: Magnetism and Electromagnetism at KS4 (session 2 of 2), led by Neal Gupta, Physics Partners Coach.

This workshop follows on from Magnetism and Electromagnetism 1. It will look at the more challenging aspects of electromagnetism at GCSE, namely the DC motor and electromagnetic induction. The workshop will include live demonstrations and will help teachers guide students in tackling GCSE Physics explanation questions, with an emphasis on using key terminology precisely and structuring clear, logical answers.

This online session is for non-specialist physics teachers and early career teachers. Trainee teachers, technicians and teaching assistants are also welcome.

This CPD session is fully-funded and delivered by Physics Partners as part of the East Midlands Online Physics Hub programme. Sessions are run on a half termly basis.
