Join us for this in-person session on Teaching Waves (Light) led by Karl Stokes and Heather Pateman, Physics Partners Coaches and hosted by Kempston Academy, MK42 7EB

Core Ideas: Explore how light travels, reflects, and refracts, linking ray diagrams to everyday optical phenomena.

Practical Investigation: Conduct experiments with mirrors, lenses, and prisms to observe image formation and measure angles of incidence and refraction.

Exam Focus: Strengthen skills in interpreting diagrams, applying equations, and explaining light behaviour in GCSE-style questions.

Expect plenty of cake, new ideas and chances for hands-on experimentation!

This session is fully-funded and delivered by Physics Partners. The session is part of the Bedford Physics Hub series of twilight sessions for physics teachers, particularly non-specialists and early career teachers. Technicians are also welcome to attend.
